Greetings from the deer stand courtesy of Blackberry.

Fins, How are you coming along filling my venison order?  ;)

Venison orders in southern Stearns County are going really slow.  No shots heard or deer sightings and we are 2 hours into the season.  The wind is going to be really tough on the Auggie air attack.

Stearns County PETA meeting tonight.

Based on the weather report: I trust all the JOHNNIE faithful will have plenty of snow snake medicine on hand for the game ............ just in case ;)

Squirrel.....I have a recipe that makes it taste just like chicken, and Raven, if seasoned properly, tastes almost like Great Blue Heron  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

26*...the Jake is a frozen tundra. Should be a fun day.

Should have a nice lead by then.

Gig Harbor Cat

I want to give props to TDT for making a VERY generous donation to the Linfield Wildcat Helmet for Hunger program.  The Cat Sr's get all donations matched dollar for dollar by a local merchant to help feed those in need this holiday season.

Way to come through TDT

Peace out

come on cobbers, you can't have possibly given up nearly 400 yards of passing on a windy, below freezing day up in the northern tundra.  especially in a game where a win puts you one short step away from the automatic berth into the playoffs and at least a share of the MIAC title.  and who benefitted?  hopefully Carleton.
When is the last time Carleton has managed to fill every seat in their stadium?  Are the Johnnie fans getting back on the wagon for the trip to knight land?  all i have are questions after this season.

While we may bitch about the Johnnies, no one quit backing them Ao.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

AO

attendance last year at Carleton vs. the Johnnies: 1027
SJU attendance is down by an average of a little more than a 1000 in home games from 2007.  You've still got the most fans in the MIAC, but the numbers are clearly down.   you've found your quarterback in boyle, and you're playing for the championship on Saturday.  I don't know if "johnnie magic" really describes a move from 1-2 to potential champion, i'd say..........lucky.

I think TC will tell you the bandwagon is with Carleton. ;)
As for attendance, who knows why-4 early home games in a row, only Concordia was a rivalry, sort-of. I know if SJU makes the playoffs, they wil not host, but if they did, I would bet they would draw more than most home teams.

stanbob

With the exception of Concordia, all the "big" games were on the road this year and the attendance at two home games were affected by weather.  That being said I would say it is a fair bet that Johnnie home attendance could very well equal or surpass the UMAC total attendance.
