I realized that when I heard Pat say Will AM et, that I had been putting the emPHAsis on the wrong SylLABle. Isn't it named after a river, and is the river pronounced the same cockamamie way? (See how I got that word in there Beavis?)

Yes there is a river by the same name. And we point and laugh at people who pronounce it incorrectly much in the same way we point and laugh at people who think that the river (and the university) are located in Ore-Gone! ;) ;D

I attended a seminar last week by an Oregonian (a Linfielder, even ::)).  A few people kept referring to Ore-Gone, and I kept waiting for him to correct them, but he never did :D

A tradition unrivaled...

Bennie:

My buddies from RoadtoGameday.com that I featured last week on JohnnieFootball.com were in Oregon last week.  They spoke highly of the beauty but not so much on the weather.

BTW: TC and I took in the Wild vs. BlueJackets contest on Saturday night at the X in St. Paul.  Rick Nash is a bum.  TC's seat broke at the beginning of the 3rd period (supposedly from the wild and crazy Coldplay concert held there on Friday night according to the usher).  What a capper to a great day!!

SIDENOTE: Gentlemen check your email boxes for an important announcement...

The St. John's Johnnies from St. Paul. ??? >:(

The NCAA info always says that. If I had been in the studio like years past we could've caught that. I'll take it up with the source and see if they can eliminate that error in the future. :(

Look on the bright side Pat; at least you didn't have to get all dressed up and spend a couple of hours with the ESPN makeup crew as you have done in years past ;) ;)

I would imagine your PJs and slippers at home were much more comfortable 8) 8)

It is lovely out today! 63 degrees and sunny! 8)

Yeah, that Rick Nash is a no talent player! ;) The young un goalie Mason had a good game. He makes for a nice back-up for the delicate flower, LeClaire.

To any WW fans reading this board:  You can rest assured that St John's destruction has now been fated.  There is no further sandbagging.  The tablets have been broken.

Oz, he didn't really commit.  And his counterpart on the Wiscy board, champ, surely has.   ;)

Johnnies are up at #10.  Dropping the NESCAC schools and they are #8.  And this for conference rankings...

1   NE Smalls   10   0   0   0.000   0.6707
2   Minnesota IAC   9   16   2   -0.136   0.7477

9   Centennial   9   10   8   -0.501   0.5680
10   Old Dominion AC   7   19   9   -0.523   0.7100

The MIAC rates very high this year, and discounting the NE schools, they are the toughest conference...

Start filling sandbags, brothers.  If TWS can jump on the right bandwagon, that being WW, then this race may have a little leg left in it.  (Although probably not.  I'm fooling myself.  Warhawks rule.)

"We've been down there before, so the trip won't be anything new," senior defensive tackle Joe Luke said. "It's pretty cool to get a chance to play them again. They have a great program. They're still very talented. But I don't think they're quite as good as they have been in the past. They're a beatable football team. So this is a great chance for us to go down there and try to knock them off."

You guys better give this kid a call and let him know it's hopeless.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Johnnies take Expectations Setting II in the second half of their senior year.
