If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Tmerton, have you shopped for flight to both Milwaukee & Chicago?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Rick Nash is no bum. I still think his sick moves to beat three defenders and score last year was one of the best I've ever seen. Maybe he could enrol at SJU and play WR against the Warhawks. We could skate away with a close loss then.

retagent: Ha I was joking.  Nash used and abused the Wild several times on Saturday night.  BTW: Will you be attending the tailgate/game on Saturday?  It would be a pleasure to meet you.

Chasing MILFs since '82...

The pic is from gojohnnies or johnniefootball - can't remember which.  There are two very similar pics of the same play.

Got the tickets last night.  Flying into ORD and coming up with the Saladins.

Can't wait - finally get to meet flash and maybe even BDB if he's going to make an appearance.

MVP looks to be kind of a toss up...maybe Winford?...Carletons  QB?

I'm thinking either Winford...even though his first half of the season was significantly better than his second half...OR...Drew Ziller from Carleton. The guy had a hell of a season. D3 team of the week 3 times.

I will be there for the game. I am planning on bringing an Auggie alum, and another convert to Johnnie Nation. If I can get their butts moving early enough, I will make the Tailgate too.

Time to get ready to play the yammering, "stumbling, corn-fed galoots" again (previous usage circa 2001 SJU vs. UWSP)  ;).  There is always a chance especially if the offense comes ready to play.  The defense will do just fine but we're going to need to put some points on the board.  I'd love to buy a plane ticket for SoCal or Oregon.  Let's make it happen.

Weather forecast at this time calls for game time temps to be around 34 and partly cloudy. In my world, that's perfect. Why? Well duh, you can eliminate coolers and just set cases of beer out on the parking lot. Life is good.

If it gets much colder, you need a cooler to keep the beer from freezing  :o

BDB has been much too quiet. Is it prime youth hockey time?

According to the folks out East at Wesley, you have to have the right shoes to drink that stuff.
