Already have. I found Mount Union's to be comical.

Has to be #13. ;)

The johnnies colors are cardinal and blue.  I have never seen a photo of a johnnie uniform with any blue on it.  Is there?  If not, why?

When I was there, the Johnnie away uniforms for the basketball and hockey teams were powder blue and they were much, much nicer than the red ones they have now.  They were sharp and I wish they'd go back to them.   The hockey sweaters had a monk with skates and a hockey stick that was designed by Denny Hartman, the former hockey coach.  They were pretty sweet.

chewey.....I can see that. I wore a powder blue tux to my senior prom back in 1976.

Ahh, the 70's........Some of those styles are coming back now, for some unknown reason.

Back at Ya Dutchfan. That would be a tall order, but it would be nice hearing the crickets chirp from the WIACers.

Good luck to the Johnnies and fans for their trip.  Have a safe trip.  Maybe if the chips fall right I can come to see the Knights play the Johnnies up there in Minnesota with my Wartburg grad son.

Dutch, good luck to the IIAC against UWSP.  That was quite a game to see down in Waverly a couple weeks back.  I hope Wartburg can pull off the upset.  Their defense looked pretty solid but it looks as though they have an offense that could use some work...like SJU.  The Wartburg people were first rate and very friendly and I see you guys like your beer down there too.  :)

Seems as though the MIAC is behind everyone else when it comes to posting regular season honors and awards.

If it is like the NWC or WIAC, everyone that has suited up this year is either 1st or 2nd team all conference, even if they were playing with both hands wrapped around their throat.   ;)
Everyday is payday in paradise.

What is so comical about it?

Just that whoever wrote it knows how hard it is to stop the Raiders.

By the way, for all the people that I offended with the Hamm's ordeal, you'll be happy to know I'm drinking some right now. Turns out I like it more than I thought. I had only had it once and it's better now than then.

Career record:   270-21-3 (.923)

That's ALMOST comical.

Good luck to the johnnies this weekend.  I hope you guys win and make the trip to So. Cal.   Maybe you can bring some of those burgers I keep reading about, I will provide the grill and beer, it won't even be of the Mexican variety.

Redtooth

I realize this has nothing to do with the MIAC or even the West Region, but after reviewing the North Region capsules on the front page I can't believe there has ever been as weak a region in terms overall playoff records of the teams:
2-3
0-0
1-1
0-1
0-1
7-4
6-5
1-2

Nothing like setting up such a juggernaut to get through of playoff hardened teams ::) ::)  It is a good thing for the teams there that Mount Union was moved out East.

I've had a busy two weeks, so it's time to get out of work a couple hours early and sit back with a few of these...

Cheers, boys (and sheilas).  Safe journey to those that are making the trip to watch Johnnie glory and I'll be seeing you other web dwellers bright and early Sunday morning.

We're sure as heck not making the trip just to see Wisconsin and a bunch of beat up birds.

Go Johnnies!
