Grotberg is getting desperate.  Putting up multiple 27, 28 footers in a row...

Sad to say its over but as I said just before, the better team is clearly Lawrence this year, well done...

The turning point was definately with about 3 minutes left in the 1st when GC had a chance to take the lead but missed and Lawrence ended the half on like a 17-4 run...

Congrats to LU, you are clearly the better team.  Best game I've ever seen anyone play against GC...

Gl in the NCAAs....
Gotta agree. They really did a great job of challenging all the Grinnell shooters. Certainly the better team today.

I have a question for long time Grinnell followers.  Who is better?  Grotberg or Wood???

Congrats to Long and Grotberg on great careers.

BTW, I'd take Wood's all around play.   Hoever, Grotberg has been terrific.

One thing I won't understand ever about the system.  I know you want to change lines, etc, but why intentionally foul to give the opposition 2 shots to do so...

Stop fouling, Grinnell.  It's over.

Different system, I have NEVER seen a more clutch player than Wood.  You didn't just think he might make the key shot, he would make it.

He also played a lot less minutes since we had a far deeper team then....

LOL Even the announcers sounded surprised.  That was Grotberg's first foul???

Not to make excuses - LU has been the better team today - but has any team had worse injury luck coming into the tournament? Norlund, Chamberlain, and now Little A. Would have been fun to see them play with a full complement.

I agree.  Wood was sick.  He would never go 6-23 in a big game, but thats just my opinion.

Not to mention Malinowski in 2003 vs. Drake.  If he's not hurt, I think we win that year....

Stop with those comments. That's piling on at this point.
