Anybody else wonder how Edgewood and MSOE are ranked where they are? MSOE would be a second division team in the MWC.

They did beat Beloit on their home floor in a close game, 60-54. That's about where they fall.

I'm not so sure.  The NathCon did better in their non-conference than did the MWC, from top to bottom, I believe...

That will affect OWP and OOWP, especially as the year goes on and more conference opponents are played.

I'm not sure I necessarily agree with where Edgewood is compared to St. Norbs... but I think this will figure itself out as the season continues.

Sorry Roop, no offense intended to the Buccaneers. I see what you mean now and I didn't think of it that way when I wrote the post.

I do think that the conference schedule (2 games in less than 24 hours) 7 hour bus trips, etc. make the MWC a tough league throughout the season. Twice this season Grinnell has had to play Ripon and St Norbert back to back in less than 24 hours, for example.

So my post was an intended comment more on the strength of the MWC than on any individual member of it.

Moms neighbor called her yesterday and told her not to go anywhere. She said she had to go to the Carroll game, so he parked his Kubota in the driveway so she couldn't get out. 6 foot drifts in the front yard I'm told. Sounds like that was the only orange thing that stopped anybody yesterday.

Looks like Beloit has a "System." That's a bunch of points.

The Roop

66% isn't making all of them but I'll take it.
