If:

Carroll beats Illinois College

Lake Forest beats Grinnell

Beloit beats Ripon

Lawrence beats St. Norbert

then there will be 6, yes count them 6, teams tied for 2nd place at 11-7 in conference.

The last two seem like more of a long shot, with the first two seeming like more of a realistic possibility, but each of those results has a chance at occurring.  Thats nuts

Here are the senarios. I just did head to head tiebreakers. I don't know what the next tiebreaker is. I just have the three qualifiers listed. They are just in alphabetical order, not seed order.

If these four teams win:       These three teams make it:
A) CU, GC, BC, LU                 a) CU, GC, IC
B) CU, GC, BC, SNC               b) CU, GC, IC
C) CU, GC, RC, LU                 c) CU, GC, RC
D) CU, GC, RC, SNC               d) CU, GC, RC
E) CU, LFC, BC, LU                 e) CU, GC, IC
F) CU, LFC, BC, SNC               f) CU, GC, LFC
G) CU, LFC, RC, LU                g) CU, GC, RC
H) CU, LFC, RC, SNC             h) CU, LFC, RC
I) IC, GC, BC, LU                   i) GC, IC, RC
J) IC, GC, BC, SNC                 j) GC, IC, RC
K) IC, GC, RC, LU                  k) GC, IC, RC
L) IC, GC, RC, SNC                l) GC, IC RC
M) IC, LFC, BC, LU                m) GC, IC, RC
N) IC, LFC, BC, SNC              n)IC, ??, ?? (GC, LFC, RC)
O) IC, LFC, RC, LU                o) GC, IC, RC
P) IC, LFC, RC, SNC              p) IC, RC, ?? (GC, LFC)

The Roop

So there is a chance that Grinnell doesn't make it. Interesting. That happens and then Jennifer Love-Hewitt breaks down in my parking lot. GO !!! scenario H.

This is very impressive thank you for doing that

With the season winding down. Who do you all think will get first team all conference. This year is exceptionally tough with all these teams finishing with nearly the same record. Here is my first team:

Wyp: norbs, best scorer on the best team
Tucker: IC (The pg there is a stud, but Tucker is the SR and a highlight waiting to happen)
Borreson: LU Leading rebounder and top 10 in scoring
Gillispie: Rip, Clearly a first teamer, leads league in assists, as well as top 3 in scoring.

The other spot in my opinion should go to Taylor from Norberts. He makes that team go. If not him then Wurtz, but Wurtz only scores, and doesnt defend. Travis Clark was ok this year, but shouldnt be first team just because he was last year.

Opinions?

Actually that one has always confused me, as it would seem any snow that was not pure white would be something you'd want to stay away from.  Perhaps that's just me though...

The Roop

Kicking skunks is a bad idea too.

Having said that, lets lay off 312. It's not polite to beat up new posters. We need new members on this board as the enrollment has dropped the past few years.

It's still ok to beat up scottie however.

Good luck to GC in their battle with LFC tomorrow. I'm betting it's going to be a VERY competitive game. LFC on their home turf, and probably still smarting from their last round with GC.

can anyone else view the GC/LFC game? I'm not getting anything.

System Error

Unfortunately, I cant see the game either. MWCTV just keeps saying Network and Loading... Frustrating.

jeffdc

yep, reduced to watching the live stats (http://campus.lakeforest.edu/foresters/livestats/xlive.htm) - GC leads into the half, 47 - 22.
