What are Lawrences chances of beating St Norbert tomorrow?

I would pick the Knights.  LU needs to hit an offensive stride across the entire squad to compete better. They might, but SNC defense generally really good.  Giving up 80 to JC seems a rare event.  If LU wins the score is high.

Well LU played well, buried a ton of threes.  Couldn't stop SNC inside.  Good game, LU earned a lot of respect tonight if you are into moral victories.

LU blows a 14 point lead, then rallies and defeat Carroll 69-62.  Big minutes for Willer filling in for Trace Sonnleitner who fouled out with 9 minutes left.  Coach DePagter now on Maalox IV.

After last night's win for The Good Guys over America's Team, Monmouth is halfway through their MWC games and stand in at 8-1 in conference play.  Could this be the season that scottie's predictions of "Fighting Scots in 07-08, 08-09, 09-10, 10-11, 11-12, 12-13, 13-14, 14-15" finally comes true?!   Looks like a big game on Saturday with Ripon who is just 1 game behind at 7-2...also the only time these teams will play each other this season.

I'm pleasantly speechless about the current success of this team.  But I will repeat that, "In Skrivseth We Trust." 

Obviously, there's a chance that the Good Guys could HOST the MWC playoffs.  If so, I'd say a scottiesighting would be in the works.

Big three game stretch ahead for SNC: at Carroll Wed, at Monmouth Sat, host Ripon next Tues. Games against the 4th, 2nd and 3rd teams in the conference. Could put SNC in the driver's seat with six to play, or could really jumble the standings.

SNC already beat Ripon and Monmouth. Two left against CU.

Moving onto other news, a huge match-up at Glennie Gymnasium tomorrow afternoon between Monmouth and St. Norbert.  Last Saturday's game with Ripon was big and this one is even bigger yet.  First meeting earlier in the season went easily to SNC on their home floor; both teams have been rolling since that November 22 game and only have 1 loss apiece in the last 2 months.  Here's hoping the students and people from all over Monmouth give the Fighting Scots a nice home court advantage and make it a loud, hostile environment for the Green Knights...as well as handing them their first MWC loss in quite awhile.  Good luck to The Good Guys!

SNC outshoots Monmouth in all three ara (FG, 3FG and FT). SNC led by as many as 18, IIRC, in the second half. SNC wins 76-62
