I'm surprised after last Wednesday's game that Mr. Rocks wasn't in here complaining about St. Norbert again. Either the gym was too dark or the officials are in Grzesk's hip pocket. Or that when St. Norbert has an injury the next guy steps in and does the job instead of crying "woe is me."

Not much to complain about when one team takes the other team behind the woodshed....  All the excuses in the world won't change the result.

I seem to remember you "reaming" on a certain coach that accomplished a HELL OF A LOT more than JoJo ever has and you didn't seem to have a problem with it.

If you are speaking of a former WIAC coach who lost 100% his games--yes, 0 wins in the WIAC--I rest my case.  I guess once you win a few games once in the NCAA tournament you can put it on auto-pilot and some people will give you a pass.  Sorry Cubs, not me. 

Get back to me when JoJo actually makes the MWC Tournament again.....  Until then, the NCAA Tournament is nothing but a pipe dream.

As far as losing every game in the WIAC, that is ONE season in a 22 year career..... (And the only season one of his teams finished in last in the WSUC/WIAC.)  I'll take the 12 Top 4 finishes, and put more weight in what happened over the long haul, instead of cherry-picking one year.  I guess if Semling goes 4-10 this season, he should be replaced too!!! 

Van Dellen's career winning percentage of .614 (358-225 record) includes 17 winning seasons in 22 years.

Too bad he collected a paycheck the last few years with no wins and no recruits in the pipeline when he left.  As I recall, Ted never won any of Lawrence's Super Bowls, either     I can't recall if Juckem was on the LU bench as an assistant in the Super Bowl or he was off to Coe by then.    Not going to look, either.

Would be the same situation at that school on the South River/College Avenue in Appleton if JoJo would be done at the end of the season....

As far as LU's Super Bowls, even when UWO struggled in Van Dellen's last few years, he still went 3-1 against Jojo....  JoJo better just stick to using Tharp's accomplishments while at LU in trying to raise funds for the program.  There would be a lot of blank space on that letter if he had to use his own Head Coaching accomplishments....

With that said, when is Lawrence headed back to Puerto Rico?  Seems to be the only place JoJo can get a win over the last month or so!!!

SNC had a 7 point lead over the Siwash Prairie Fire with 6:27 left. Knox gets it down to 1 with :11 left but SNC makes two free throws, and Knox misses a 3-pointer. SNC wins 56-53. Big game against Carroll next week.

Real question is when will Norberts lose, if they do at all in the MWC this year? Big game this week vs Carroll, but I find it hard to believe that Carroll can beat Norberts. Carroll seems to be squeaking by games and are due to falter. Combs must be coach of the year as of today though for the job he has done. 

Regardless of a coach at a program, I've come to learn at the D3 level things can change with a recruiting class. Norberts does not have a Sr, so maybe they will not get 12 plus recruits this year. Is there a chance Ripon, Beloit or Lawrence can sneak some recruits?
