I think he took the high road and didn't say anything about the 2 year starter who decided 2 days before the season to no longer play, as well as a freshman who would have contributed (clearly in the rotation) deciding at the 11th hour not to attend LU.  Two solid scoring players may be the difference this year between being in the league tournament and not.  Nikitas is covering for that gap admirably.

Cubs, I am not interested in your biased agenda vs the coach at LU, but I respect your constitutional right to blather on incessantly about it.  :(

ROTFLMAO.....these pot/kettle things.....too funny

While I have your attention, what happened to Guske?  He was a classic Pat Miller D2 or D1 transfer....but there is no sign of him anymore.  ???

I think he was abducted by aliens.  Why in the world would I share anything about any of our players with you?  ???

With three/four games left:

1. SNC, 15-0
2. Carroll, 11-3
3. Ripon, 11-4
4. Monmouth, 9-5
5. Lake Forest, 8-6

So, realistically, it's three teams competing for two spots. Maybe.

LFC plays two teams ahead of it in the standings: SNC and Carroll. I would say they have the toughest road.

Monmouth plays all teams behind it.

Two of Ripon's last three are against the worst two teams in the league.

I was at the Cornell vs. Ripon game on Saturday.  Really an unreal performance by Sabin.  Very quiet the first handful of minutes, and then hit 3's on 6 straight possessions.  Went from 0 to 18 in the blink of an eye.  Went through a stretch in the second half where it looked like he was maybe wearing down a little, and missed a few shots, but hit a bunch of big shots at the end of the game and OT.  Cornell was up 74-69 in OT with a minute left (and the ball)...a couple of turnovers and missed FT's and left the door open.

Very entertaining game, and the chance to see a Steph Curry-like performance at the local level.

Wow, good thing there was no video replay.  They might still be trying to decide if he got it off in time.

Don't go by the audio... it isn't quite in sync with the video. Watch the light on the backboard. He has it out his hands when the lights go on.

Ripon clinches spot in MWC Tournament with 86-73 win against IC.  Ty Sabin scores game-high 36 points, shooting 7-for-8 from 3-point range and even had a posterizing dunk. In Ripon's last 6 games, Sabin is averaging 31 points per game, while shooting 63 percent (30-48) from 3-point range. Yes, SIXTY-THREE PERCENT :o .
