Are they playing in 1991 (the last time BU got this far and prior to the name change in 1996)?

Pretty neat atmosphere last night. Not a sellout but pretty full. I had the pleasure of watching the game with my dad, who played on the St. Procopius team from 50 years ago which previously held the record for wins to start the season (16 or 17... Shattered by the current 28-0 record). Should SNC and BU meet in the Elite 8, I would imagine that it will be a sellout... with DePere being significantly closer to Lisle than was Abilene.

Weekend of redemption for St. Norbert. I'm glad they made up for last year's debacle. Northwestern isn't anyone to take lightly as shown last year and St. Olaf is a solid team that's been to the tournament before. It's nice for them to get off the schnide and also to get another home pod. I'll be rooting for them...

Alma won the SNC holiday tourney.

It was only a 4-pt game at halftime, but Alma ended up winning by 17. I know nothing of the game, so I don't know if it was a 10 point game late and Alma hit their FTs or what. Tough to make up 17 points on a neutral floor this weekend.

Alma shot 54% from three point distance (28 attempts) back in December against SNC.  I'd be willing to bet they end up closer to their season average of 40%.  If so, that would be one way they could "make up" a large portion of the 17 point difference.

From the looks of it, it might be the only way a MWC school beats SNC anytime soon!!!
