Any Forester fans out there with a little insight on the team? Excited to watch them battle the UWO Titans tomorrow in person but I haven't watched any MWC games this year or know anything about them besides looking at the box scores. Anything would be appreciated!

Solid calls on those at-large bids to UWL and Ramapo....in other news, I'm somewhat surprised that Lake Forest didn't make it a closer contest, they did have some good talent, but only playing a shallow bench can be a recipe for disaster. Forest is going to lose some key pieces for next year, so I think my Knights could finally take back what has been really anyone's conference.

Respectable season for the MWC all around

Even as a WIAC fan, I'm still shocked La Crosse got in. Not to say my Pointers would've done any better. But I guess it helps that they went 2-0 vs Stevens Point. Ramapo, I probably would've agreed with their selection, but the NJAC seems like they've had one good year in the last decade in the NCAAs.

I was away from my alma mater when the golden era happened so I missed the events mentioned in this blog. Dang, that had to be fun.

Not being affiliated with Lawrence, I didn't remember their 2004 team, but I sure remember their undefeated, #1 ranked 2006 team - since it was my Titans (AT Lawrence) who ended their season. ;D

No, their gym is too small!  It's amazing they got to host a sectional! :o

Well, there was enough room for me and Swampgoon. I even remember sitting next to some IWU big wig. They added a bunch of bleachers behind one of the baselines. They had to empty out the gym between Friday's games and it was freezing outside. A nice Titan fan helped me get tix!

i was there too Greek!  We should have followed the lead of our senior Titans fans whom bought tickets for both games.  They used their canes and walkers to refuse to leave the gym!!  Otherwise, they would have not seen Lawerence sneak players families, alumni and fans in through the back doors.

Yeah. That line to the end of the road was ridiculous.

yes!  And then, our fans in the first game had the end bleachers that Paul Bunyan cut down but did not sand!

Grinnell's high scorer Jack Taylor (he of 138 points in one game) looks to set another record: Wisconsin's largest snowman ever!
