If by "in shock"  you mean "ecstatic," you'd be right.

I don't know, if I was Carroll, I would have at least expected to wear the home jerseys for the game; they don't even get that.

MWC released their all conference selections and such.  I think they nailed it all.  After seeing Carroll for a third time this weekend, I believe Scheper belonged on the first team with Drury, the LU guys and HInz.  they also got the second team and HM right.  Tharp coach of the year.  Carroll and LU were undefeated against all other conference team.  I think they deserved the recognition.

Good luck to LU and Carroll this week.

JUSTINTYEM

How the Hell does the 3-time defending confernce champ only get 3 named to the all conference team. Not to mention they are undefeated.I kinda think thats a farce. How about an all freshmen team.LU should have 3 on that team then. But congrats to all honorees on the awards.

I think Larry has a decent draw for just the reason that LU_nut stated...

I think the North Central/St. Thomas game should be a competitive one... so this will be to Lawrence's advantage... allow both those teams to tire each other out and have to turn right around and drive 5 hours to play a rested opponent.

This isn't a gimme, though, by any stretch of the imagination... two years ago, Point hosted Benedictine, then went to Gustavus Adolphus and knocked off the Gusties (who had the bye) and three years ago, GAC hosted Whitworth on Thursday and travelled to Stevens Point and knocked off the Pointers.  If Lawrence is looking for any reason to be excited about their chances, the history with this Minnesota/Wisconsin series the past 3 years has placed a team in the National Championship game.

Oh, and justintyme, there are 6 Wisconsin schools:  LU, CC, UWW, UWLaX, UWStout, and Wisc Lutheran.
