On the HM comment, I suspect Ryan will be first team for the next 3 years so thst will be good enough for me.

And the Grotberg pick makes no sense as he will be in the NBA, right jeffp ?

Well my ALL-FRESHMEN TEAM IS:Grotberg,Arse,Kroger,Kadison,Page.These might be biased but they really are the freshmen that stood out to me.Maybe i didnt notice many others.But if you disagree please debate it!!!!

I can't imagine it wouldn't be Grotberg and Arsenault, even though they play that farce of a style you guys try to justify as basketball. I think until you bag that POS system it will always be all stats, no major victories at Grinnell.

But jeffp sure has the respect of the coed GU hotties, I can tell you that. Whatever cologne he's wearing, let me know, I need to break me off some of that. Must be topping off their cappucinos if you know what I mean.

I think you can makes some arguments for Kroeger, but why do you think Page and Kadison deserve HM?

(And you can't say that getting to play with Bopper means they deserve it).

No complaints here on All-MWC. Scheper and Drury deserved to be first-team, and with Hintz's stats, how can you not put him on the first team. Second team is all very good players as well, so can't really complain. Ripon might have a complaint with Bo on HM, but I can see why they did it. Bradley getting HM was good, if he had been as effective in the beginngin of the year that he was in the end, then I could be complaining for hiom to be higher, but I think he is where he belongs.

Congrats to Bopper, 2 time MWC player of the year, and John Tharp bnow I believe four time MWC coach of the year

As to the matchup versus St. Thomas/North central..

Yes, LU can not afford to look past them, but I think you have a situation with Briar and Tharp who hasve this team very grounded, and will be very prepared for whomever comes into Alex Saturday night. Being in the Twin Cities myself, I fully plan on being in Shonecker arena for the game Thursday night and giving my full report/opnion on what happens at the latest Friday morning. I'm looking forward to it. Its the madness...and I've got it.

I didnt say they should get HM,They are on my ALL-FRESHMEN team.I said i thought Rosey,Hurley,Kroeger should be HM.My reason is they started on the only UNBEATEN team and conference champ.That should be good for something.If Carroll can get 4 Larry should get 5.

I think Carroll has overall better athletes than LU, they are just not much of a team compared to LU. Not as deep and they don't play as well together. Scary good if they played together.

Hate to break your bubble but...

Hurly only lately started starting...Ozzie was in there for mopst of the season.

Rosey still needs some work. he's good, but there were other Point guards better then him in the MWC

Kroger would be good on an all-frosh team, but again still a little raw for all-MWC. next year though he should be a shoe in.

I know what you are saying.But then Tharp should get NATIONAL COY then if thats the case.With a lack of talent(only 3 ALL-CONFERENCE)this was one hellova coaching job.And Bopper better be First Team ALL-AMERICAN then as well.Do you atleast see my point.I know those guys wernt as good as some others.But DAMN did they get the job done or what.Just some food for thought.

The posters tend to look poorly on people openly padding their posts, using poor grammar, poor punctuation and no space bar.

While some may be dumping your karma because of your positions, a lot of people may be dumping it because your posts are almost unreadable.
