Justin - On this board, a good sense of humor and some thick skin will take you far.   Someday when you're a starter like me (ie. next week) you'll realize that.   :D

By the way, do they have designated seating areas for wheelchairs?  Maybe that's your answer right there.
JUSTINTYEM - Scottie maybe on to something.  It is worth a call.  Got to also remember that the allottment could be different North Central vs St Thomas (proably not now that I think about it). Should North Central be LU's opponent (and, I think it likely) their fan base does not travel all that well -- according to their stats Total Avg Attendance 559

North Central is closer to you guys than St. Thomas is, though.

Man, I was really hoping for a long drawn out spiral to dimensia, played out on the message board.   Oh well, there's always next weekend.

Justin avoided his dementia and now appears to be working on that "karama" of his.   ;)

My MWC season ticket vendor made a mistake and got me 20 tickets instead of 2.  Who needs some?   ;D

Correct Pat.  I'm just not too sure a bunch Cardinal fans will hike to St Thomas (398 miles one way) then turn around and hike to Appleton (208 from Naperville,Il) or (275 miles from St. Paul).  My bet would be on Appleton if the Cardinals win in St. Thomas.  Cardinal fans that round trip it to all the games would travel over 881 miles and layout some bucks for meals and rooms to boot.  I could see a good contingent going to Appleton on Saturday if the Cardinals are the LU opponent.

Early

I just traded in my Lawrence season tickets and my 6 NCAA tickets for a Cadillac and a corn dog bar.

Perhaps not. However, there may be some others who don't make the longer trip on a weeknight and choose to make the shorter trip on a weekend.

Not to mimic the angel gabriel, but i bring you all good news of great joy for well at least 350 people.  here's the skinny on the tickets.  NCAA rules mandate that tickets are alotted to both teams ie north central and saint thomas.  that would be 700 total!  Well, only one of those teams will be in the tournament after thursday night, meaning that approx 350 tickets (barring irrational behavior from the fans of the losing team) will be available.   THESE TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR BEFORE THE GAME ON SATURDAY.   It may require a lot of waiting, but people like justin can have access here.  I believe they go on sale at 530pm, but get their earlier.  So to recap:  more tickets will become available per the losing team not using their tickets.  350 more of you can still get into Alex.  Furthermore, if youre not among the chosen, they will have a closed  circuit broadcast in the Green Room of alex that should accomodate further demand!

also, the tickets for each respective team are different colors than the general ones; thus, say saint thomas loses their (pick a color) color tickets would not work ie they cannot attempt to scalp them, merely pieces of paper they become!

LU fans better get there early and get their tix since LU will probably be one and done and there won't be a second opportunity to see them this year....

Lol...i couldn't get a clear answer from the box office on this, but that is what made sense.  The person I talked to swore that it was 350 tickets only sold for the opponent (i.e. saying that St. Thomas/North Central could only buy tickets on Friday after the opponent was clear) but this didn't make a lot of sense to me.  This solves the mystery of the missing 400 seats, with the remaining 50 seats likely going to LU players and their families.

Thank god I'll be in A-town Friday night so I can stakeout a good spot in line come Saturday morning/afternoon.

For those not in the know like me, you can actually trade in your LU season tix for a BA degree at Ripon (diploma included) and still be able to get a Kia Sorento and THREE corn dog bars with the 6 NCAA tix...perfect for all the thrift shoppers out there.   ;D

A few observations:

Firstly, I got my tickets and I'm glad you did too Justin.  You don't know me, but I can vouch that you are a loyal fan.  A fixture at Alex and I saw you at Ripon too.  Go LU.  Don't get so excited, everybody here would like you if they met you.

Second, Jordis is quickly becoming the biggest ***** on the board.

And lastly, I wanted to say that if LU were to lose this weekend, while disappointing, that I would be proud to be their fan and would suggest to the high and mighty CCIW folks that traverse to this board that they should get used to LU being a top 10 program for a very long time.  The underclassmen talent is very good.
