Justin~

Thanks for that link of Hope College.  I had heard it was an amazing facility and it looks like it.  By far the best gym I ever played at had to be Illinois Wesleyan's.  It looks like Michigan States gym with an upper track around it to hold more people...so nice....what an advantage with recuiting.

Speaking of Hope, how does a team with two loses compared to LU's ZERO losses get even four first place votes?  Can someone please explain to me how that's possible...and those four people should get their voting privaliges taken away.  I don't care if you deep down inside feel Hope is better.  A team that goes undefeated and beat an NCAA playoff team 3 times deserves all those votes.  It doesn't bother me so much that LU didn't receive all the votes, its that we have people on the voting panel that wrongly give those votes to teams they are familiar with.

That is true, there would be very few tickets in a four team sectional.  Big doubts about Lawrence getting to host.  That will make it much harder for them to beat Whitewater.

LU fans, don't worry, you won't need a ticket after Saturday.

Jordis:

T2K was right, you are the biggest prick on this board.  Not much doubt there.

As John Holmes once said....oh nevermind....instead of getting so mad about a 'prediction', let's just see how the game turns out and then rub it in my face if I'm wrong...basics people....

All you do with comments like this is confirm your own reputations.

Can you have a reputation with only 5 posts though ???

Sure why not, Boston made a career out of only 5 albums.

Speaking of early, that reminds me of some friends who live on a farm. They fed their calves late the other day and I asked if they got mad about it. They told me no, there are never any hard vealings.

Don't put that one in the act.  And lay off Boston, they had the highest selling debut album of all-time until they were knocked off by Hootie & The Blowfish in the 90's.

Hope deserves the votes they are getting.  They are one impressive team.  However, if I had a vote, it would go to Lawrence until they lost, although I wouldn't have been convinced of that had I not seen them in person.

T2K was killed this morning in a fiery crash.   Okay, he just has left the area.

Old School:

You know Keven Bradley is a nice young man;  Point probably could have used him this year.

Nothing annoys me more than having some fairweather fan of a team that has been really good the last few years come in and post crap like this.

I have never posted anything about Keven Bradley and I have never said anything about him, good or bad.  I'm glad that he's happy at Lawrence.

I think this is the reason why I have a dislike for Lawrence.  The fact of the matter is, I really like Lawrence's team.  Braier is a stud and Tharp seems like a really good coach.  I enjoy watching them.  But,  some Larry U posters really strike a nerve with me because they just flap their mouths about Larwrence being God's gift to basketball.  Where you were guys a few years ago when they weren't that good and Ripon was winning?  All of a sudden we've got posters with less than 25 posts coming in here and claiming they've been long-time fans.  What a joke (my apologies to the real Lawrence posters).

That is the 2nd article that I've read where Stevens Point seems to be the center of their attention.  I find that real humorous.  Apparently the Pointers are the Evil Empire now, but that's just fine with me.  Don't forget you have a game to play on Saturday!  If you guys want to be more worried about how Point treated you in the past than to concentrate on the current season, well, good luck with that.

As I've said before, I respect such posters as jeffp (though we always don't agree!), Old Fighting Scot and other regular posters who aren't afraid to post when their team isn't doing well.

For those not in the know like me, you can actually trade in your LU season tix for a BA degree at Ripon (diploma included) and still be able to get a Kia Sorento and THREE corn dog bars with the 6 NCAA tix...perfect for all the thrift shoppers out there.   ;D

That's funny.  Yeah I had a cousins that went to Lawrence.  I have a job, got one the year after I was done, and he does not have a job.  I started my teaching career.  God bless him, he is working in Colorado growing his beard.

What is it with LU people and beards? Some of the best beards (oxymoron if you ask me...by best I mean huge Grizzly Adams beard that a bird could nest in) i've ever seen were on LU folks.
