Secondly, Lawrence statistics have actually gone up continually over the past 3 years ie. act score sat score, gpa, # of valedictorians, and top 10% of class.  im not sure why us news does what it does but maybe we're not liberal enough lol

The numbers that were quoted for IWU were also a bit low.  I'm not sure what being liberal or not has to do with raw statistics, though.

Well when I went to my 11:10 class today there were quite a few people in the non-student line. Maybe 30 or 40. When I left class at 12:20 there were more people then I ever thought i'd see in the conservatory. I doubt many of them have ever been there or will ever be back...

No i do have tickets available.I bought them for Roop and Sam but they now told me they have tickets already.So i guess i will just have to sell them.If i can get something more than what i paid,it will be worth my wifes time off work to go with me.I had no intention of scalping anything.But the people i bought them for now already seem to have tickets.So what do i do.Sit and Eat $30 worth of tickets.I dont think so!!!!!!

But i just may contact some LU students that couldnt get tickets and sell'm to them for face value just like i have intended to do all along.But the idea of LU tickets going for more than face would be a great news story.Things arent always as they seem people.Heck i may not even beable to go to the game myself because of a family issue.But i sure as hell will forfeit $10 over $40.Just dont judge before you know the whole story!!!!! I had the tickets sold until i was told they didnt need them anymore.

I think we had a failure to communicate.  From what it sounded like over in the CCIW board, Sammy Jenkis had no intentions of asking anyone to buy him tickets until a IWU fan was kind enough to buy the "enemy" tickets! lol.

Anyway, of course you don't "eat" the $30.  But, there were plenty of students and other fans that sat in line and didn't get tickets.  You do the nice thing and sell the tickets to them for face value.  Inconvenience to your wife, sure...but how about the inconvenience to those fans that skipped work/school and didn't get tickets?  I'm sure the smile on their faces when you give them those extra tickets is payment enough!  

I had extra tickets to the Whitewater regional when several people couldn't go and I sold them for less than face value.

We didn't mean to jump on you like that, but it did look like it was pre-meditated...

Hell no it wasnt premeditated.Ask Roop and Sam what my intentions were.I even invited Roop to spend the weekend at my house till something happend in my wifes family and i had to cancel that.Which may cause me to miss the game.But i will try like hell to be there.So there was only good intentions when i picked up these tickets for Roop and Sam.

When your "situation" came up you made it sound like you couldn't go at all or get me a ticket. An alternate source became available and I went that route. I sent you a message about it before you went to the line today. If you get stuck with my "extra" I will of course pay you for it as promised.

Thats no problem Roop.I just dont want people thinking Im some sort of A55HOLE.I would give the tickets back before i would ever scalp them.Or give them to a player for his family.
