Well, I had to go to a class at the point when I was getting "sent to my room without my supper."  I'll just point out two quick things:

1.) When one of these ( ) is included with a comment, it often implies humorous sarcasm - nothing more.  Those with thin-skin-itis, please seek treatment.

2.) Those who chastised me all were posters from non-MWC insitutions.  Perhaps those on the board who actually have a real rooting interest in our own conference found some validity in my remarks.

At any case, it's over now...until the next MWC snub, which should be soon.

I heard a big name floating around - Jack Bennett.  Just speculation, but it came from a very credible source.

Man, any team would be crazy not to beg Bennett to be their coach, from a basketball standpoint. Wow.  Wow. WOWWWWWWW. I'd love to say something intelligent right now, but I just can't muster a normal reaction to that.  It sure would be an interesting to see him come out of retirement, as a new place like that, and build things out of the ground...

scottie - It appears that you need to put a wink icon    in with every one of your posts because people don't seem to get the idea that one of those means that you're just joking.  For those that think scottie is snarky and has a chip on his shoulder, even though it's been readily admitted that most on here don't know him well enough to judge that yet still manage say those things about him, I can assure you neither of those are true--because I do know well enough to judge that.

I gotta admire Scotties loyalty to the Scots football program but we here in the MWC did not get to 1-9 in the play offs by being a power conference. I get a kick out of the Monmouth-St. Norbert "rivalry" though. Which was made possible only because Coe and Cornell left.
