Yet,  looking at starting five for next year of arseneault jr. at 1, grotberg at 2, long or Schmidt at 3, ticus at 4 and chamberlain at 5 it appears to be one of the most talented lineups in the league.

You have to remember that very rarely do Arsenault and Grotberg play at the same time; Ticus and Chamberlain also rarely played together.  Things may get jumbled up for this year, but just because those are the five best players, does not mean they will play together all that much.  They like to keep the lines well balanced.

Your count is off by one and actually no, I've never had to pay or give up anything for any of the divorces. In fact I could have been difficult the second time around and walked away with a nice settlement check. (consult Kentuckys Marital Propery law for specific details) Now the aftermath of said divorces has not been without  hard times financially, but I manage to keep my head above water and it eventually works itself out.

That being said, I need to borrow $3200 for a used single wide as I'm tired of paying rent. A trailer is not my first choice but the payments would be over and done with in 7-8 months. I would also need an old motor to hang in the tree and 3 dogs to live under the porch. Why................. because you can take "The Roop" out of Kentucky but you can't take Kentucky out of "The Roop".

Sometime I wonder what the world would be like if that first part never happened.

Yeah, I do to. Many things were set in motion when my 30 second eye exam while entering the military determined I didn't have 20/20 correctable vision. A proper civilian eye exam later revealed that I did in fact have 20/20 correctable vision. Had the military eye exam been done properly I would have enlisted for 6 years instead of 4. Which means I wouldn't have been able to stand up in my cousins wedding and I never would have met 1 of 3. She graduated from LU in 89 and I followed her to kentucky when she went to grad school at UK............. that's the short version.

I don't know if we're beyond the place where we care about basketball news, but the NCAA committee approved an addition to the "in-region" rule.  In addition to the regions determined by the basketball committee and the 200 mile rule, games played against teams from the four NCAA-defined geographical regions will count as in-region as well, starting with this fall's football schedule.

Regions are:

(a) Region 1 - Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont; (Revised: 1/12/99)

(b) Region 2 - New York, Pennsylvania,; (Revised: 1/12/99)

(c) Region 3 - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia; and (Revised: 1/12/99)

(d) Region 4 - Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

The Chicagoland recruiting website www.chicagohoops.com is reporting that Glenbrook North guard Tyler Cullitan has committed to Lawrence. Cullitan was one of the supporting cast around All-Everything forward and Duke recruit Jon Scheyer that led GNHS to the 2005 Illinois Class AA championship and the 2006 Class AA quarterfinals. Two of Scheyer's other GNHS sidekicks will be playing D3 ball besides Cullitan; center Zach Kelly will attend Washington (MO) this fall and will face former GNHS defensive stopper Jon Radtke twice a year in UAA action, as Radtke will wear the royal blue and gray for Case Western.

It's not so much basketball related as it is NCAA related, but for those NRO staffers out there working on covert ops right now "The item has been redirected".
