Grinnell's pre conference schedule is pretty much set (although not official) and NC is nowhere to be seen. I doubt it will happen.

If a game that doesn't involve a conference opponent is played after the first conference game, is it still pre conference? 

You just better thank your lucky stars you didn't say pre season! lol. 

I dunno - would Greg bludgeon jeffp, or cut him some slack for the sake of his now Chicagoan daughter?

Since this "non-conference"; "pre-conference"; "pre-season" stuff seems to create so much confusion-and even anger or disgust-why don't we just assign a different name to it? How about something like "piddle"? It's easy to remember, too!

North Central is NOT listed as part of Grinnell's Piddle.

11/8/2006 Carroll to play University of Wisconsin in exhibition. Translation..... Carroll needs to win the automatic bid to make the tournament this season. A 22 game schedule won't give them enough points to get a Pool C this time around.

I think that all depends on how many of those 22 they win.

It's a miracle. Beloits schedule is on their website before December.  @MSOE, @Augustana and @Whitewater to start the season. They did this why  Carthage, Judson, @Elmhurst and @Aurora completes the non-conference schedule.

Knowing what my work schedule "could" be, I might as well apologize to Scottie in advance for not making it to Glennie this season. Although it's not definite yet.

"The Roop" - Your chances of an appearance at Glennie this season are about as good as mine.  If the Bucs and Scots schedule their game at Assembly Hall, however, I'll be in the front row.

On a serious note:  If the Scots play host to this season's MWC championships, I'll be happy to come back and help host the D3Hoops Party, along with Schwannie, Mav, FS13, et. al.  Is it too early for this type of forecasting...?

I know of 4 recruits for sure, nothing really specific about them. Other than there is a big man coming in that may need to develop some aggressiveness. 2 other possibles went the WIAC route. 1 to Lax and 1 to Plattville.

Hate to forecast a starting lineup at this point but it should be a more experienced lineup than last years squad. Depth could be an issue however.
