For the Jersey Turnpike of course and to see the landmarks from the Sopranos opening live.

Larry U:

Any idea what they pay him there ?

Half an apartment, two chickens and a wheel of cheese.

There's probably more truth than humor in this statement...

That's true, we all know Denmark is a little colder than the rest of the continent.  They'd probably be paying in heartier fowl, like ducks or geese.  I don't know what I was thinking with the chickens.

Ham. Danish ham. That's what they're famous for.

In fact, I would submit that Braier is being paid in ham, pastry, Carlsberg White Elephant beer, and Legos.

I'd play for Dak ham, it's wicked awesome. Takes some luck finding it here in the states though. My supply is down to a 1 pound can right now and I need to correct that soon.

Can you let us know what kind of car Grotberg is driving this fall ?

As I'm wearing a Grinnell shirt at the moment (given to me by the staff) I think I'm allowed to answer the question on Jeffs behalf.

Grotberg is driving a 6 Mule Borax to and from classes.

How he gets to and from practices I am not allowed to discuss.

Go east young man, it is in many stores around the NYC metro area.

An east coast trip (South River, NJ) is not out of the question but I can usually get Dak at Osco in Beloit.

Should everything fall right, what shall I do first? Train to NYC for a pie, train to Philly for a cheese wit or fall back on Nathans Famous ? Having lived in Philly for 6 months I should know the answers but I was only 8 months old at the time. So you'll forgive my memory of the situation.

Take the train to either on first, then you can take a train to the other quickly and inexpensively.  I would do both the Cheese steak and Nathans with a side trip to Hoboken for pizza at Benny tudinos.

You can't leave the NY area without pizza.

Actually I would skip Nathans on Coney Island and head to the corner of 4th St and Sixth ave and get the dogs from Grays Papaya.  Best dogs in NYC in my humble opinion.

I think Nathan's jumped the shark about the same time they started selling dogs at Newark Airport.

You see it's easier to make things up with some of the facts than it is with all of them.
