If they have to play
Then Kyle Orton should start.

I'm trying to imagine McMullen's dilemma if he's bringing the ball down the court and has to choose between Drury on one side, Grotberg on the other, and Schmitting down low.

You know he's passing to his own player first! lol.

That's the trouble with most All-Star Teams isn't it ??

I don't know who wouldn't want to look to schmitting first.  Didn't he drop 29 and 10 against point @ point?  Or was that Lacrosse?

The Roop

I suppose it all depends on who the defense is paying the most attention to. Leave Horton open and he will drain the three with the likes of Drury and Grotberg. Not sure you can say the same about Schmitting. That's my only question with Scots4s picks. He put two centers on the team so one of them will be playing out of position. It's not that Schmitting can't hit a 3 but Horton is prone to take more of them.

PG David McMullen
SG Nathan Drury
SG Jon Grotberg
PF Andy Horton
C Brian Schmitting

Bench
4. Andy Hurley

I'd have Hurley instead of Horton.  I'll admit I'm biased since I haven't really seen any of the "south" teams.

Pretty bad when the bench players run it up on you. Since nobody from Lake Forest posts on here I'll post for them. When Beloit gets a team let me know. See you next year. This game was a disgrace.

GC 113, CC 104

OK, CC shut down much of GC's treys; JohnG had a horrible night; and GC couldn't hit the basket at times to save their lives.

And yet....they won.

This was not the game I expected!

If you mean the LF bench players running it up on Beloit, I have no problem with that.  They probably don't see the floor much, so they are bound to try to get their name on the scoresheet.  It's Beloit's job to stop them...starters or not.

Thanks for the update. I've been checking the results and hitting refresh for about 10 minutes.

BIG win for GC. Congrats to the team and Coach A.

Here's pulling for the other home teams tonight.  ;)

OS,

Not my point. Complete lack of interest on Beloits part. You once said that you and 4 other posters could beat Maranatha. Tonight I doubt Beloit could have beaten Maranatha.

I've never had any problem with bench kids putting up shots. It's up to the starters to stop them.

Roop,

No problem...sorry for the misunderstanding.  I guess I wasn't sure what you meant.   ???  Like I started out my post, "If you mean..."

Reading it again, and then taking your last post into consideration, I know what you meant now...the Beloit players were letting the LF bench players run it up on them, as if THEY didn't care at all.  Got it!

Oh yeah, that's a link below too! (tricky)

Congrats to David Arseneault!
