The Roop

He played and both ankles were taped. He fouled out with about 5 minutes left and had 19 points to lead the way. Took him a while to get going however and he really wasn't a factor as the game got out of hand. That final score is a little deceptive as it wasn't that close.

Roop, did Horton play?  He left the LU game looking like he had re-injured his ankle.

Also, anyone have a GC-IC or KC-LFC score?
From the IC web site... GC 105 IC 99

The Blueboys  ::) lead at half 47-40. Grinnell was 5-24 from 3 in the first half and 12-21 in the second. Guess they found the range at halftime. Chamberlain played 19 minutes, so he should be fully ready for the tournament.

OK, then the seeds are set for the MWC tournament:

#1 Lawrence
#2 Grinnell
#3 Carroll
#4 St. Norbert

Grinnell wins the all-important right to wear home unis in the semifinal game.  I have to say that I'm pretty pleased how this turned out.  Anything can happen, but hopefully LU can get by SNC.  Then they'll play the CC-GC winner who hopefully will be tired from the semifinal game the day before.  Should be an interesting tournament here in Apple town next week.

Bulbs are set, seeds are planted. A biologist should know that. LOL.

Beat me to it, wc2, dang

The Roop

Grinnells math department must not be very strong as you should have been able to calculate the bracket before anyone else. LOL.

I don't do multicellularity.

Good one on the Huber law.  I had to google that.

Kind of a Carroll joke from a couple years ago as some of their posters had questionable reputations.

I must add to the conversation that Grinnell DOES have a very good record in their home uniforms.  Perhaps this is bigger than anyone realizes.

The Roop

What does that have to do with anything. I'm still trying to determine why wc2viking doesn't do multicellularity. I guess that means he only has one cell phone. Not sure how that relates to plants however.

Greek Tragedy

When the Pioneers of Grinnell play the Pioneers of Carroll, is that like the Roughriders playing the Rough Riders in the CFL?

It depends on the officiating.

What I mean by that is that "The System" relies on the touch foul being called so they can get their line changes in. If the refs let them play then Grinnell can't always do that as they have to stay on the court.

Since it will be a neutral site. Carroll wins this one big. Just like they did the last time @LU in the tournament. 152-134, or something like that.

It should definitely be an interesting tournament.
