Stealing Titan Q's gimmick from the CCIW room

Home win = +0
Road win = +1
Home loss = -1
Road loss = +0

St. Norberts  +2
Ripon  +2
Carroll  +1
Illinois College  +1
Lake Forest  0
Lawrence  0
Knox   -1
Beloit  -1
Monmouth -2
Grinnell  -3

It's always good to have a gimmick.

Just FYI, your numbers are off somewhere.  You have "+" total of 6 and a "-" total of 7.  Debits must equal credits with this gimmick.

Ya good catch, I noticed it too but laziness kicked in.  I think Grinnell is just a -2, or Norb's is a +3, I'll fix it if I give it another go round.  Good catch though, I guess thats why it's your gimmick :)

That actually doesn't work either... Then you've got a + total of 7 and a - total of 6.

I think he menat one or the other....  If he does just one or the other, it comes out to +6 and - 6.

Correct, I'll go through and double check today, but I meant just one or the other.

As TQ pointed out, it is St. Norberts at +3, which correctly evens everything out, just in time for the weekend games.

What are your thoughts on the top 4? SNC, Ripon, IC, and Carroll is my guesses. Those teams have been playing well all year and will be in the conference tournament at the end.

Lake Forest is making a nice push and Beloit is playing better as of late. But I don't see much changing in the top 4 through the rest of the year.

I attended the Lawrence vs. Carroll game last night and was suprised that Lawrence did not come out with much energy or desire. Watching them in the past especially they seemed to bring a lot of enthusiasm and intensity.

Carroll's Eric Williams had one heck of a dunk in the first half. After searching youtube earlier today, I finally found the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjgqEIpLQrA

That 4 spot is going to come down to IC vs. Lake Forest.  IC sitting at 4-2 right now, and Lake Forest at 3-3, but luckily they will have a chance to determine it on the court, as they still have 2 matchups against each other remaining.

Good luck GC against Lawrence tonight. Here's hoping:

- the 'good' team shows up and plays the entire game
- Scott Kaitz and Griffin Lentsch reappear
- we don't get iced out
Threes are better than twos....

The Roop

Can't believe that scottie doesn't have a prediction for the showdown tonight between "the Good Guys" and "Americas Team".

Put up a #

Roop, aren't those one and the same? The Grinnell Pioneers?

System Error

Funny to think the game between (3-3) LU and (1-5) GC in a few minutes is the rematch of the Co- Conference Champs and conference tournament championship game. What a difference a year makes!

jeffdc

GC 90, LU 89.

Finally. A full game of System ball. Congrats, guys! And the return of Scott Kaitz did make a difference.

A night for System Fan(s) to rejoice!  A real nail-biter, though.  GC led the whole game, but LU whittled away their lead - outcome unclear until the very last seconds.  John Dekker played an amazing game.  Great to see the new Pioneers really GET the System.

The Roop

Are the Lake Forest announcers trying to disguise their voices into some type of comedic parody, or are they just retarded ??

GC 101, CU 99.

GC wins at the buzzer with a 2 ptr by Matt Chalupa. Incredibly tight game, both halves, always within 5-7 pts either way. The polar opposite of the last GC/CU matchup. Solid system play all the way. CU has an incredible player in John Hoch, but a couple of key CU players got in foul trouble, GC  was solid on the 3s and didn't crack under a scrappy final 5 minute effort by CU.

Really thought this one would go into overtime. Great win for GC.

Why complain about announcers Roop? The Bucs just beat Lake Forest 62-45 at Lake Forest. What a strange game we have in Diii BB. Last week the Foresters trashed the Bucs at Beloit and today a complete reversal. I would have bet that if the Bucs pulled off a road victory it would habve been at Monmouth, but a split for the weekend on the road  is not bad.
