1 pt loss to SNC hurts in the last 2 seconds. particularly when we were up 15. Not sure I understand the timing of the GC slowdown in the last 3-4 mins. Seemed like all it did was help SNC nibble away at the lead. But hindsight is always 20/20...

Any of you Fighting Scots followers know why Kenny Foster wasn't listed in the box scores from either of this weekend's games?

The Roop - Beloit is at 6 wins right now with 4 games left on the schedule. If my math is correct, that means they can still get to 10 wins. Re-calculating!

The Roop: The only math I care about these days are the 2 games this week for the good guys. The best 5-14 team in the country WILL decide the regular season champ this week.

For those who care about such things (ie. All of ya), the scottie sighting meter is trending up for the Lake Forest double feature.

Particularly interesting to note for MWC fans is Lake Forest is currently ranked 2nd according to the unofficial prognostication.

If Lake Forest fails to bring home the conference crown, could this be the year that the MWC gets two teams in the NCAA for football AND basketball.

GC 87 MC 75

Interesting game. Felt like a scrimmage for a lot of the 1st half. GC trailed but it felt like it was by design- they were trying a bunch of different things, almost ignoring 3 pt attempts in favor of various 2-pt set plays. Then, as one watcher remarked to me, Coach A 'unleashed the Kraken' and the score flip-flopped. Lots of nice work by Ney, Lentsch, Maher, Yeager, and a well-timed 3 from first year Zachary.

Don't expect the IC game to be as laid back. IC came damned close to beating GC on home turf earlier in the season. this time's it's a home game for IC and I'm betting they're out for blood.

Maverick re: Foster...a few days late, but thought I'd let you know that Foster is no longer with the Scots. I really don't know any details, but heard it started at the LF game...are there ANY LF posters out there who can lend a hand??

Yes, The Prime Citizen said "You plan it" and The Roop said, "Ok. Vegas, Luxor, night helicopter tour and drive thru wedding in a cab". That last part got scratched as I found Graceland was half the price and also included a limo and photography. Original plan included the Hooters Resort and Casino but after "a look" I felt compelled to find different accommodations. That's how the Luxor came in to play.

But to keep on topic with the forum here; I sure hope Beloit finds a basketball tournament to play in out there in Vegas between 10/25 and 10/30.

I live really close to LFC and I've been in their gym before (though never for a Foresters game...).

Does that count?
