Easy Larry U.  Juckem left after the 2004-05 season.  If I recall LU was pretty good 3 out of the next 4 years.

By using guys that Pat helped recruit.  That's the one major knock on Jo-Jo so far is that he isn't bringing in the guys that Pat and John did, and its showing in the conference results.

Anyone know what has become of Lake Forest's James Stack?
I don't see him listed on the 2012-13 LF roster.
Seems like possibly a pretty big loss. He was the team's most improved player each of the last 2 years.

Had a chance to speak with Lake Forest coach Chris Conger and got my own question answered.
James Stack is still in school at LF. He just didn't come back out for basketball this year.

Waking up from my long summer's nap....will see GC in action on 11/20 against Faith Baptist - amazed those guys are willing to come back after last year's game. This year's GC team shows promise - not so many big guys but GC has some tall talent in the jr. and sr. classes. D3 has them at 3rd in conf. We'll see what happens.

Another first (at least since I've been following them): GC has 4 count 'em 4 folks on the coaching staff. That's 2 Arsenaults, an ex-player, and another guy. Amazing.

ummmmm.....so, congratulations Jack Taylor and Grinnell I guess??  I'm really more impressed that you were able to give up 104 points to Faith Baptist.  I would have bet against them scoring that much in 40min if they were the only team in the gym.

Next attempt give us all a heads up so we can watch the silliness live.

Now it's going to be interesting what the reaction to this feat gets on the national stage. I have a feeling that it could go both ways here.

Grinnell College's Jack Taylor scores NCAA record 138 points   http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2012/11/20/jack-taylor-grinnell-college-ncaa-record-138-points/1718463/

D3 Sportsmanship at its finest  :-X  ::), did the guy even cross mid court to play defense or just spend the game basket hanging, in this case, though with 71 3-pt attempts it was more like 3-point line hanging.

Hard to say...Grinnell has used the goon ball strategy in the past, haven't they?  Either way, ridiculous stunts like this take away credibility from "the system" as legitimate basketball.
