"This one should be a doozy as the undefeated Pioneers take their record into the preseason favorite's home gym."

That is absolutely the understatement of the week  ;D
Threes are better than twos....

Does a 20+ SNC win classify as a doozy?   ;)

Well, it certainly wouldn't be a dozey....

I will crawl out on a limb and say that GC will eke out a win. Or is that 'eek' out a win? I guess we'll find out.

Honey Boo Boo might "geek" out a win.   ;D

I think it's going to be a very good game and it's all going to depend on two things.

1. How well Norbert's beats the trap

2. How hot Grinnell is from deep

I mean you can say that those are keys from in Grinnell game, but I think it holds even more true this weekend. Winner gets a leg up in conference as well/

I was just thinking the same thing, but you're definitely right. :)

I kinda was too, but I really didn't know that thinking was allowed on the MWC site any more. Been away too long, I guess...

Great blog. I enjoy reading it. Just one quibble: As much as it pains me to say it, I'd say that the surprise team in the CCIW at this early stage of the season has been Wheaton, not Augustana.

Both have surprised me frankly. I mean it it's kind of weird to say both Wheaton or Augie are surprises after how strong both programs are but both have come out strong after being picked middle of the conference and I was, I would say, fairly surprised when Augie went up to St. Norbert and took them out. A tit for a tat, either way I think.
