Thanks for the commentary JeffDC. Given all of the youngsters on the MC squad, the inclusion of the upper-classmen in your remarks is appropriate. I tried to hang in with the webcast for awhile, but 1.) The System looks like even more of a circus when you have buffering issues. 2.) It might have helped if the webcast actually included a running score for the viewers. And, 3.) I don't understand how a Grinnell braniac can have trouble pronouncing "Monmouth." (MO-MOWTH? Excuse me? Slightly offensive.)

But I digress....

Still mathematically alive.....for 2014! Go Scots!

Scottie, I gotta say, at times I was laughing out loud - at the GC team trying to find the ball. I don't think the 2 coaches were laughing though. Several stretches of play that were really more like train wrecks. GC has to play better the rest of the season, though, or SNC/BC/CC is going to hand it to them....

Agreed, JeffDC. From what I saw, it appeared as if the ball was covered in Crisco. Nevertheless, Honey Boo Boo better put some more "go" in the Go-Go Juice. They've been held under the century mark for three of the last four games. Staying on that plain should give the opponents a definite chance. UNLESS THEY CAN ONLY SCORE 67!

I expect to see GC win the rest of the season's games handily (will I rue the day I wrote this??). The exception? SNC. The upside? It's at home (and we beat them away for the 1st time since 2006). The negative? As you pointed out, the Pioneers are scoring pretty good. But is pretty good enough to beat SNC? I think so - because GC's bench is 3 lines deep.

We shall see.

Oh deer. Actually I broke all my fingers on both hands in the accident. Why, I've been typing this note since 10:27:18AM and using my...my...my...well, let's just say that the object I am using makes typing VERY VERY slow but somewhat exciting.

Congrats to the Good Guys for staying mathematically eligible in 2013! Here's hoping for a 4th place log jam at 8-10 and the biggest tie-breaker cluster in history.....

And, congrats to the Good Gals for tying a school records for wins at 16. They've got a good chance to run the table and get to the MWC playoffs at 20-3.
