Final WW 73-LU 56 WW got in the bonus and that was all she wrote. LU shot poorly from 12 minutes left in, they have been hot lately.

Gregory, Gregory, Gregory....How do you define "Anything"? Monmouth has won NCAA championships, MWC championships, and MWC All-Sports trophies for both men and women. And this is all within the last five years or so. I'm surprised you wouldn't have done at least a little research before posting such an absolute. But, whatever....It's the holidays so I'll let it slide.

NCAA championships are the only relevant subject. And you're stretching the point in that regard; Monmouth has won individual NCAA championships in track & field. Big deal. Monmouth has never won a team national championship, which is what this discussion is all about.

Oops, my bad. Monmouth won the 1954 NRA Intercollegiate Women's Championship. Congratulations, scottie; six decades ago you had coeds who were handier with a rifle than anyone else in American higher education. You must be so proud.

I still think LU is the MWC favorite. Today's result did nothing to dissuade that opinion I expressed earlier. (At least I can say nice things about LU and others once in a while.)

We lost one of the Good Guys today...Ted Eskildsen, Retired Coach and teacher, passed this morning. Ted spent a good part of his career coaching Grinnell College Women's Basketball and Soccer. If any of you out there knew Ted, you know what an amazing person he was. Ted will be sorely missed.

What are the odds that Coach A or Little Coach A has already placed a call to Champion Baptist to get them on the 2015 schedule? Letting Southern University have all of the fun wouldn't be the Grinnell way.
