Carroll built a 17-point lead in the first half, with about 4:30 left. SNC whittled it to I think 7 at the half. SNC took its first lead midway through the second half. SNC hangs on to win 74-68

Julian Marx and Luke Yeager had a very good day, indeed.

Hey Scottie - look which 2 teams are playing for the tourney...  ;D
Threes are better than twos....

Watching the title game and I see that Coach Grzesz has an assistant who borrowed a suit from Colonel Sanders or Boss Hog.   :D

Kind of embarrassing to think Grinnell could represent the MWC in the NCAA tourney.   :'(

SNC looks like it will win and Boss Hog is carrying the greaseboard carefully away from the ivory duds.

St Norbert wins 99-86 in a game that was tied at 86. Valiant effort by Grinnell. I would say they gave the Knights everything they could handle today.

A nailbiter until about the 2:30 mark. Wonder what the shooting percentage is? Not like yesterday's, and yet they really made SNC work for it.

SNC wins 99-86 in a game that was a lot closer than that score indicates.

WHY would it be embarrassing to think of Grinnell representing the MWC in the tournament? Because they finished second in the regular season and won every game they had to win in order to reach the championship game? Because 18 kids play their hearts out? I am tired of hearing "Grinnell had a better record than my team, and they don't play the way I like basketball to be played so they're an embarrassment." A genuine embarrassment is denigrating someone different than yourself.

Grinnell shot 39% overall, 36% from 3 point land. That's after shooting 50% from 3 in the first half.

SNC had a big advantage in free throws.

St Norbert is very tough. They never buckled under pressure, hit big shots late, and make almost all their free throws as Grinnell fouled late. I hope they get a great draw in the NCAAs.

I thought Grinnell played much better than the last time here.  More players were hitting shots for them. Snc's Cerroni and GC's Taylor did not have big games but Kam's three late was a dagger

I agree on Cerroni's late 3. Could not have been bigger, aand you have to have guts to shoot it. If he misses, it's still anyone's game and Grinnell doesn't have to foul. Pretty darned entertaining game.
