Gym roaches or gym rats--both are vermin.  Just like Ripon--better dead than red.  ;)

SNC built a 19-0 lead on Carroll. CU's first point was more than 10 minutes into the game. First Pios field goal came with 7:27 left in first half.  Now 21-5 late first half

Meanwhile, GC beat Ripon 112-96. Sabin had 25 while Taylor had 18. But Ripon had 30 turnovers !!!!!

Begining to look like three teams are vying for two spots in the conference tourney.

SNC is 13-0, Monmouth is 10-3. They are looking like the top two seeds. After that:

Ripon 8-5
Grinnell 8-5
Lake Forest 8-6

After that, three teams are 5-8.

While on that site I happened across the story from Saturday's Ripon-Grinnell game:

http://fox11online.com/2015/02/01/sabin-battles-taylor-in-elite-matchup/

A couple of comments from Taylor that I really find bothersome. I don't know if he was trying to be glib and failed miserably or if he really is this arrogant...

"It's always good to go against a guy who is on my level," Taylor said. "Playing against a great player like that was a blast."

"I told him that the refs didn't give him any calls and that he needs to start flopping like I do," Taylor said.

You were looking at the GC/RC score from 3 weeks ago, which was played in Grinnell. Saturday's game was won by Grinnell 117-108 in Ripon. Sabin had 33 to lead Ripon, while Taylor had 20 (third highest point total on his team). After 18 games, both players now have exactly 523 points this season, which is tied for the scoring lead in the NCAA, across all divisions, with 29.1 ppg.

Also, here's yet another feature on Sabin from WLUK-TV Fox 11 that aired Sunday night. It focuses on Saturday's game and also has interview with Taylor. There's also a feature on Ripon Head Coach Ryan Kane that follows that piece:  http://fox11online.com/2015/02/01/sabin-battles-taylor-in-elite-matchup/

Nice win by GC over MC last night. Scottie, was the MC team sick or something? They looked kinda...out of it.
Threes are better than twos....

I didn't watch the game.  But, yeah....there was probably something going around with the team.  I'll go with that.  Otherwise, they would have blown out the Pioneers.  That's the ticket.  :)

Great accomplishment for a great player: 1,000 points in just 43 career games  :o :o :o http://redhawks.ripon.edu/news/2015/2/3/MBB_0203151747.aspx

Only a sophomore!

Bo Ryan might be looking for a transfer shooting guard who plays at Jack Taylor's level.

Looks like the conference tourney attendees are set after last night.  Grinnel, Ripon, and Monmouth will head to St. Norbert.  Can anyone catch the Knights napping?
