The Roop

You know Dolph, I could really care less if you have issues of color or not. I would respect you more if you came right out and said it though. I never ask for apologies where a persons opinion is concerned, nor do I give apologies for mine. If you feel and believe a certain way, cool. Just don't run and hide when called to defend them. The way you've played your cards the past few years has left "The Roop" with only one conclussion. I will not retract it.

The discussion on this topic has ended. That is all I have to say.

After a heartbreaking loss to LU last week Carroll bounced back to beat Beloit on Saturday. Tonite the pioneers face Ripon, carroll by 14. Also, it is about damn time that Carroll got some national attention and broke the top 25. As long Carroll takes care of business and doesnt have any let downs before the next LU game, it should be a hell of a game in Waukesha. But Carroll can not afford a let down the rest of the season, GO CARROLL

The Scots get their first conference victory!

And there was much rejoicing...yea.
;)

The Roop

"The Roop" did indeed ask Scottie for this favor on the pick em board. Scottie is now one with the "New Roop Order". Much cause for rejoicing.

Hoopsville seems to have some issues tonight. Pause on the rejoicing.

Any news on the KC/GC game? (he says a bit nervously...)
Threes are better than twos....

To elaborate on my prior post, IC was without Womble and Gillingham, two double-digit scorers. Beaird scored a quick nine points on three treys late in the half for a 37-21 lead, and that wound up being the story.

Another double-double for Price, who is beginning to live up to Old Fighting Scot's preseason hype.

Knox 114   Grinnell 113       Final

No info, just the score...

7 out of 8 for the Prairie Fire with two winnable games at home this weekend..

carlsandburg

sorry..

6 out of 7, got a little ahead of myself there...

FireBall

Knox Wins 114-113.  No stats for the KC/GC game yet.  Knox was down by 17 or 18 with about 10 minutes left and started hitting 3's and creating turnovers to get themselves back in the game.

Grotberg from GC was unstoppable for about a 10 minute stretch.  Then Zick from KC started taking the ball to the hole hard.

GC had the ball with about 5 seconds left on their side of the court, Grotberg was taking Reineck one-on-one until he tried to dish off.  KC's Moten stole the ball and ran out the clock.

Carroll 87 Ripon 62
Carroll had a rough first half with leading only by 1 at half time but then came out and played hard in the second half

The Roop

Hoopsville reported 87-52.

I hope you're wrong ccfan69. Ripon can never lose by enough as far as I'm concerned.
