They really squeeze in Grinnell on a Monday game, after playing a conference game on Saturday and before playing another conference game on Wednesday.

That's not too smart; who is making this schedule?

Greek Tragedy

It's a tough schedule for Oshkosh after Christmas.  From Dec. 27-Jan. 6 they'll play 6 games in 11 days.  Apparently that's the only time they could fit the game in.  I'm not sure how much the starters will play that game, especially against a team like Grinnell and their style.  At least for them, all those games are at home.  I'm sure it wouldn't be on the schedule if they had to travel for any of those three games.  Looking at the dates, there weren't really any other dates that wouldn't cause the same problem.  They have a "bye" between the Feb. 3 and Feb. 10 conference games, but that's about it and I'm sure Grinnell probably had their own conference games.  They also had time the week prior to playing the other MWC games.  No idea, but that's why THEY do the scheduling!

The Roop

4 Jan 2007 is a Thursday. My guess is that Grinnell also has conference games in WI on the 5th and 6th. Which would make 3 games in 3 days for them.

They also have a track meet at Whitewater on Saturday a.m.  Since Grotberg is not going NBA, he is running the 5000 meters to stay in shape.  I hear Arsenault throws the shot.

Well Grotberg's in the 5000m race, but he's running 10000, you know, just to make it fair.

Actually the entire team is running the race; they swap a new runner in every 45 meters.

That would be a logistical nightmare--oh yeah, so is their style of , if you'll excuse me, basketball.

Technically, I believe you "put" the shot.   ;D
HEY PAL, DON'T BLOCK THE SHOT!

Yeah, Arseneault "puts" the shot to Chamberlain who either catches it and slamdunks or kicks it back out to Grotberg who drops it in for a trey...while completing his 45 meter leg of the 10000.

It really isn't a logistical nightmare at all...for Grinnellians anyway. ;D :D ;D

That's nothing, you should see them when they compete in the 1000 meter Freestyle during the swim meets...

The rebounds for that event are a bit tricky, but the passing is sharp.
