I don't know anything about the kid, but if he can compete right away that's a big plus for Carroll.

Since we are just blistering this site with basketball stuff over the last few weeks I thought I would give in to temptation and plug another of my kid's - one of D3's own, btw if she ever signs up again- shows in Chicago. It is called "talk Dirty to Me" and runs every friday night through August 4 at the "Spot" Bar in Chicago. Check out the following link:

http://cltv.trb.com/mmx042103thisweek,0,4998485.story

and scroll down to 'talk dirty to me'

The stream ain't the greatest, but Hann..er, 'that girl's interview near the end comes through loud and clear.

BTW, parents LOVE It when kids get paying gigs!

...even if the part is somewhat bare assed!

My apologies if this has been posted already, but it gives a handful of MWC recruits

I counted two for Carroll, one for LU, SNC and RC

The question is: is the show tame enough for the proud father to make it through the show?

Strangely enough, it was easier for Mom than Dad when we saw the first one. Woulda felt more comfortable if I coulda brought the shotgun in to the show with me.

Her TV interview DID lead to another audition yesterday for a serious dramatic role, though.

I can hear the Saints Rest jingle now:

  Pour that coffee on me,
  I can't get enough."

Wouldn't the original lyrics be just as appropriate in a coffee shop?

Since "The Rest" is also an Art Gallery it's theme music should closely resemble that of the Antiques Road Show. Or maybe Lake Wobegong.

Well Jeff I know you're a PBS fan. So I thought I would toss out a few shows you should recognize.

Since I'm currently halfway through reading Chuck Klosterman's hilarious paean to '80s hair metal, Fargo Rock City, the clip from that show that Jeff's daughter is in struck me as particularly funny.

Sager-
They are rehersing a band that will be added sometime in late July. It will cover Motley Crew songs...and yes, my drummer daughter portrays Tommy Lee! :o

All in all, a fun show. If you plan to attend - any of you - say hi to Hannah for me.

PS-she will not be in the production on the 7th of july due to a Job conflict. Catch it any other Friday and she will be there!
