Roop:

Should we wager a little on the LU/Underwater Fart City game today?

Maybe a scone at the MWC tourney?  Or do they only have pork products in IA?

No need for facts TQ. This is a good argument so don't spoil it.  :P

Scones are not always available at Saints Rest and the brats in IA are sub-standard. How about BC +15 for a fin??

Thanks Titan. That's very helpful. So while my logic might be right that - if everything fell right - GC could get to the table, once they got there, they wouldn't have a very good (if any) chance. Based on that information, I withdraw my proposition that the MWC might get a Pool C. Of course, that would also seem to imply that Carthage and Wheaton are not in a good position either.

Sorry System,

That was sarcasm.  My bad!  ::) ;D :D

You've actually said some knowledgeable stuff, so I didn't mean it in that tone at all.  My apologies.

I was referring it to the general public, because, honestly, there are posters, not only in this room, but the WIAC and any other board that don't really "travel" outside their own board.

Sorry again.

We're cool. Sorry I misunderstood.

I'll give you 10 for a fin.  You have unti the 10 minute mark 1st half to agree.

Early scores I can find incase anyone is around and cares:

CC 37 SNC 33 Half

Ok score....
Better Dead then Red

GC 100, LFC 65.  I guess you'd call that payback.

GC racked up lotsa fouls in the 1st half but LFC couldn't take advantage. Then the LFC coach was kicked out on a technical in the 2nd half and the LFC team just seemed to give up.

Excellent efforts all around by Chamberlain, Ticus, Grotberg, Arsenault, Long, Schmidt, and RJ Rawe (sp?)!  ;D
Threes are better than twos....

Wow, what a beating at GC...did anyone see the game?  Another really low scoring one.

Congrats to the Pioneers. That's a win against all the teams in the league and clinches their position in the MWC tournament. Barring a let down against Knox and IC, the road to the NCAA goes through (new) Darby.

Well, unless the LU/SNC game ends in a tie on 2/14, I think the Scots' ship has sank.  One of those two teams will get their 9th win.  We needed Beloit to beat LU today (Roop???) for us to have any chance.

That doesn't mean you can't play spoiler to LFC and Conger.  Apparently, the only thing hotter than his wardrobe today was his temper.   >:(

p.s.  I don't want 9 rebounds...I want 10+.   8)
HEY PAL, DON'T BLOCK THE SHOT!

Scots4

Yes that is correct Scottie. Even though we felt we should definitly won more games to put us in the playoffs, this season has to be looked at as a success. We were picked 9th in the conference and had to battle without or stud for 3 games in midseason.

Haha I was trying to get that 10th rebound. I was hoping someone would pull a Strahan-Favre and just shoot an airball right too me, but I guess they were way too selfish for that  ;)
