systemfan86-

I've been at New Darby since Wednesday reserving my lucky seats.

jeffdc and Mrs dc are already across the way.

Roop is coming but I'm not sure we can hold the seats, especially if the storm holds him up.

Nice article and downloads, Pat! Thanks for the coverage!
So we have to presume that New Darby is a Wifi hot spot(?)

How long is the extension cord for the laptop computer?

And how full are stands at this point?

Enjoyed the interview. Loved the comment that if a kid doesn't have at least a 28 on the ACT, Coach A doesn't even initiate contact with the kid. That has to be a bit limiting from a recruiting standpoint.  ;)

Thanks for the spotlight Pat!

I knew I could start up some fire!

LUMAN,

Cry me a freaking river Justin...Do you have any clue how brutal you LU fans have been to Ripon.  Ripon has been a great team in this league for a long time and you guys have one three year stretch where you were unreal and you think you guys' bleep don't stink...welcome back to reality.  I read Ripon disses just about daily from LU fans....people constantly dog Ripon's education....thanks Jeffp...I finally know what homework is?  Maybe I'm too busy WORKING to do the research myself...i know crazy thought.  Hearing a stab from you doesn't make sense.....too much coffee maybe?

interesting that coach mentioned they almost went away from the system this year and experimented with going away from it.

I sure wish they had not picked the game/loss at Lake Forest to do the experimenting.

Nut

ps:  they do have a good starting point for a regular approach this year with two guards(plus Long)  and a strong center.......  I actually thought that before as I think that Nordlund would have made a wicked foward in a traditional system and they had a good athlete back then to play center too(forget his name)

LUMAN80

what branch of the phys. ed at ripon did you graduate from rr34?

diehardfan

When I logged on to the front page this morning, my first thought was... It's a bird! It's a plane! No.... it's Grotberg!!!! ;D :D
Wait, dunks are only worth two points?!?!!!? Why does anyone do them? - diehardfan
What are Parkers now supposed to chant after every NP vs WC game, "Let's go enjoy tobacco products off-campus? - Gregory Sager
We all read it, but we don't take anything you say seriously - Luke Kasten

LU has won 6 out of the last 9 against Ripon including a 15 point win late this past year.  LU has everyone back next year.....Ripon loses a bunch.  I think you should get used to LU owning ripon for a while.

My guess is that this past year is a wake up for everyone at LU.

The glory days of Ripon are long past.  They will lose today to CC......book it.

Maybe....JUST MAYBE....I believe Grinnell might not be the favorite because both Ripon and CC have Seniors that lead their respective teams that have been in Conference Championship games before....call me crazy, but isn't Grinnell lead by two Sophomores who have never seen what kind of intensity the MWC tourney brings.  Maybe it doesn't matter, but overall CC and RC have more talent.

LUFUMAN

Wow, now you're taking shots at gym teachers...man i wonder what great job you have that makes you so superior.  Or did mom and dad just set you up for life.  Early knows that I was definity not a phys ed major...although if I had to do it all over again, i might have.

Have fun watching Ripon play this weekend!  I'll get back to working a double at Mcdonald's with my wonderful Ripon education.

It's possible that the team lead by two sophomores might be surprised by the intensity, but...

...the league didn't hand them the regular season title. Both CC and RC pushed them to the last game, so there was intensity to win down the stretch. They seemed to respond well.
...by winning the league, they get to play the games in front of their home crowd. If they were at Carroll or RC, the intensity might be a bigger issue. They are 10-1 at Darby this year, with the only loss being back in November - first game of the year - against Carthage.

Then again, I did say I wouldn't try to change your mind, didn't I?  :D ;) 8)

Maybe he's an intellectual snob. Could be from the conservatory. Perhaps he got beat up for his lunch money by a muscle head.

Just conjecture on my part.  ;)

Dear Mr RR34,
Certainly not ripping your education, just chastizing you for not paying attention. And for expecting others to do your work for you. I happen to be at work right now-typing away between making mochas-

So, why should I do your work for you? Go to the MWC site-this has been posted a gazzillion times here-and find out if the game is being broadcast.

It's quite easy.

BTW - the "too much coffee" schtick is getting a little worn. Can't you guys come up with something else when I do something you don't like? ::)

Far be it for me to defend him, but I think his hope was to find a radio broadcast over the internet rather than pay for the MCW video feed.

I notice that KGRN doesn't appear to do the Pioneer games any more. Don't know if the other schools are bringing radio crews or not. Carroll has something on their site but a limit of 300 connections: http://www.carroll.edu/athletics/radio.cc. I'm guessing he already knows about Ripon's feed if there is one.

And I'm guessing he can find out just as easily as you or I...if he works at it. ;)
