Two regional games. Whooooooooooooooo.  :-\

He never said anything about regional games, Pat! lol  >:(  :P

Doesn't mean I can't evaluate the schedule on the basis of the NCAA championships handbook.

Or maybe they're trying to hire Bigfoot himself.....and he is yet to be "sighted"...........

I'll remote view tonight and see if Art Bell or George Noory know anything about the Beloit coaching situation. The way it's going the Mayan Calendar will end before the coaching search does.

Beloit appears to have a coach (Friend who lives there called to say there is white smoke coming from the Flood Arena.)  Strong MWC ties and a good understanding of basketball in Wisconsin.

Promised I wouldn't but the announcement should come soon.  Would have liked Randall but this could be a very solid hire.

"Could be a solid hire" but not an improvement.  MWC ties and understanding of basketball in Wisconsin is not the answer to the problems at Beloit.
Good luck to the next coach.

How could they, how could they, how could they. This is worse than if the Packers hired Mike Ditka. Since I know where Quandt is now I may have to become a Point fan. While the pedigree is very impressive I'm not at all fond of one of the MWC ties. I'm hoping the NRO Grapevine is wrong on this one but it usually isn't.

The reality is that virtually anyone they hire will be an improvement over Cecil. Hopefully, the success of the Knapton and Stanley eras can be achieved after a few years under the new coach. Anything less is unacceptable to this Chapin Society supporter.

Right you are.  It flopped in a big way when Lawrence decided to go that route a few years ago ???

So I can assume you got it from Point sources?

Contrary to certain rhetoric on the topic, there are plenty of seats available for you and your friends in Stevens Point!  I think you'd look great in purple too!

Well it's official now as Beloit Ripon-Southern just posted it on their website. Quandt is a lot easier for me to get to than is Storzer Court at Flood Arena so I will enjoy the 30 minute vs. 3 hour trip. Purple was my high school color so you're right, I do look good in it.

You'd think they could have found a better picture of the guy for the official story.  Oh well, what do you expect from a school that doesn't know who it's first men's basketball coach was.
