Yeah, I keep forgetting Elkhorn is in Walworth County. Besides, it's always exciting to get somebody 6'8" at the D3 level.

I've just heard that Mills is walking on at UW-Oshkosh but plans on trying out for the team. That will be an interesting situation to watch as it doesn't sound like they recruited him at all.

I doubt Ted allows walk ons in such an elite program.  ;)

While Beloits schedule has not resurfaced, they are still listed as a participant in the UW-Platteville Tournament along with Edgewood and one of the Maryvilles.

Shouldn't you be escourting a certain scoff law home today instead of posting messages about Beloit's schedule?!  :D

Roop  FYI  --the Maryville in the Platteville tourney is the SLIAC Maryville from St Louis.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

The Roop

Thanks hopefan-That would have been my first choice but with 37 Maryvilles you never know.

Is Alexander under some rennovations?  Jan 12 is their first home game.  Just curious.  Knocking down any walls? lol  ;D

It is an unusual situation but with a D1 exhibition, 2 tournaments/trips and the fact that it's their turn to go to Point I think it's just a coincidence. The conference portion of the schedule is just random chance but it does give them more home games at the end of the season. T2K probably paid somebody off. Which goes hand in hand with the NRO policy of "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat".

My son goes to medical school not far from Grinnell, and heard they had an outstanding recruiting year.  Two big guys and a guard that can shoot the lights out.  Sounds like Arsenault Jr. blew out a knee though and will miss quite a bit of season.

We can't tell for sure.  JeffP's in hibernation for the summer and he doesn't talk recruits until November anyway.  It would be quite interesting if GC picked up a couple of bigs.

I think the faculty has to approve before he can talk about recruits. :)

Nice one, Pat.  I'm glad you found the joke there.  I was working on something about how the faculty have to approve before the recruits are actually allowed to join the team.  They also hear arguments on bet times.

LU is bottling the atmposphere of Alex in the fall and will be selling jars of "Alex Air" for Christmas gifts.  After they are done, they can play there again. Get your order in now.  www.lawrence.edu

Let's hope it's just a hibernation...His parting post seemed very down
