BeastMaster.....Is he from Warrensburg? That seems to be a very Warrensburg last name, I am just curious.

Amos,

Thanks for the ticket info.   What is your early line on the game?  I understand that UWGB is on the rebound and will not be as vulnerable as they were with Ripon a few years ago.     I have also learned from these D 1 scrimmages, that the gap between the respective benches is even greater than the starters.......15 point games become 30 point games when the teams hit the bench.  The D1 team is playing a full scholarship kid  and the D3 team is playing a kid who should be playing intramural ball.

I have not decided whether I think LU can hang with them.

Through the Iowa rumor mill,  I've learned that Grinnell has lured former University of Redlands head coach Gary Smith out of retirement and he will be succeeding Emil Malinowski as an asst. at Grinnell this year??  Has anyone else heard this?  Wow..... "The System multiplied x 2"............

hickory_cornhusker

does this mean that grinnell will start scoring 200 points a game instead of the normal 100?

Actually, 10,000; it's exponential.

While it could be exponential, the opposite may also be true. Perhaps two System coaches on the same team cancel each other out and it will cause them to run the Princeton offense ??

Yes...scots4...dillon binkley is the youngest binkley boy from warrensburg.  Had a great high school career playing for his dad...I think he will do very good things for coach worrell

Grinnell's roster is posted...freshman at 6'3, 6'4, 6'5 and 6'7

any Grinnell fans know anything about any of them or about Arseneaults status with his supposed knee injury?

I heard from a player in the MWC that Arsenault had dislocated his knee cap...but was back playing with a knee brace in a mid-late summer tournament. Grinnell fans might know more (or less, depending on accuracy).

The Roop

The initial report, a couple months back, was that he might miss a portion of the season but if he's playing already that early diagnosis was obviously precautionary. Not sure how much you miss one player in "The System" anyway but that's good news for Grinnell that he'll be ready sooner than expected.

Depends on who that one player is.

Arseneault is an important assist man on the team. Losing him would be big.

Oh, and THRILLED about the new big bodies. Here's hoping that they get 'up to speed' right away and can spell Chamberlain by the end of the season.

That is assuming they have been attending English class.
