Grinnell over Ripon 117-116.  As discussed above, GC gets the benefit of questionable officiating to get 4 free throws at the end of the game to win.  Can I pre-complain for tomorrow's game?  The Arseneaults really tried to work the refs when I watched them at LU so it's no surprise that they can get the calls to fall their way at home.

Eh? Pre-complaining for LU? You've got to be kidding. LU destroyed GC at Alex - only by the graces of the LU coaching staff was it less of a blowout than it ended up. The #1 team, unbeaten - and you're complaining about reffing in a game that hasn't yet happened? Come on. GC has a talented team this year, but it's struggling with injuries and 1st years' inexperience. If they beat LU tonight, it will be the playing, not the officiating.

And to that game....Good luck, GC! The System seems to have returned...so show LU how it works! Looking forward to a great game this afternoon.
Threes are better than twos....

Ah and uh, uh. Ah, I really hope that uh Monmouth has a different ah announcer for uh the mens game. Even reported a defensive foul as charging..............

Grinnell leads LU 49-46 at half.  LU missing tons of layups, but Grinnell is definitely playing better than they did at the Alex.  Arseneault not playing for Grinnell - looks to be some sort of injury.  Grotberg has 3 fouls for GC, but Hurley has 3 for LU.  I don't think either team really needs to make adjustments on offense - Grinnell seems to have found the holes in LU's D, and LU just needs to make their layups.  Should be an interesting 2nd half>

I don't know if anyone out there is watching the LU-GC game and also checking the board regularly, but updates would be appreciated. I'm on the edge of my couch!

LU currently up 74-70.  Refs insert themselves in the game with a completely ridiculous technical foul on LU for playing defense.

LU up 82-76 with 8:17 left.  Chris Page has 36 points for LU.  Credit to him, but I don't think he's shot from more than 1 foot away from the basket.  As I said, gotta make the layups against GC.

Mercifully it is over so I don't have to hear that guy anymore. FYI the T in Beloit is not silent, nor you do pronounce it like a Y.

et al. Beloit 67 Monmouth 60. Bucs shot well, didn't have many stupid turnovers and double teamed to deny the baseline. Monmouth couldn't get the 3 ball going with any consistency and that hurt them.

LU 95-91 with 3:33 left to play.

The Roop you beat me too it....Way to go Bucs....a very well played game. Horton was a man today cleaning up the boards....Pat Kenny will be one of the best point guards in the conf before hes done. And yes that announcer was sooooo annoying....It's pronouced Beloi"T". We need to hear the T. anyways Congrats BC.

LU up 105-101 with 1:15 left to go.

LU up 108-106 with 23.2 to go.  I think LU is going to need to hit some clutch free throws to pull this one out.

The most impressive thing that I saw was that Beloit seemed on the verge of coughing one up but managed to extend the lead and put it away late. So they know how to win now.

Unbelievable game at Knox this afternoon.  Nip/tuck throughout...however a steal with 6 seconds and a layup gives Knox the 1 point victory over Carroll and the sweep for the weekend.  Final 66-65
