well thanks for the kind words on how to announce. However it is the MWC broadcast and not espn. We are two wrestlers who were chosen to do the job not basketball players. We happen to love seinfeld so thats what you might get sometimes. Plus i think there is a serious lack of sense of humor in the room. And i would thing that whoever said we are dumb "larry u " id say we are pretty clever for coming up with old testament analogies with players last names, but thats just me. whatever its cool , if you wanted some serious commentary you could have tuned into the pointer radio station were the professional was doin the play by play, he was sitting right next to me and doing a damn fine job. As im sure he has been doing the last 20 years hes been doing it. So next time when i announce my 4th LU game ever im still going to announce the way i have been, because im in college, have a maturity level of a college male, and a sense of humor that goes far beyond that of the people that watch and listen to webcasts and then post on internet forums at the same time......peace , im outta here

Wow things have gone downhill since I graduated. Ahh Wrestlers...now it makes sense..damn meatheads. I knew a couple smart wrestlers when I was at LU, but a lot of them definately fit the airhead jock sterotype.
Wow...you told me off..I'm sorry maybe I actually care to watch and listen to someone professional.  You know someone who doesn't make a mockery of the entire thing.  I did this way before your time, and while many on here might say I was a homer, they would also tell you that I actually did a fairly good job of play by play.  Here's a tip for you guys. One is play by play one is color.  It doesn't work when you repeat each other 2 seconds after something happens.  One says there's a rebound and then the other says theres a rebound.  It sounds like crap.  Maybe you dumb jocks can't figure that out but it looks bad on the school's part, and I'm sure others wouldn't mind if you were a bit more professional too. There is a reason why Jim Nance= good and Dick Vitale=bad. 

You can do it however you want, just know that most anyone who watches an LU game now will be watching on mute, because we want to watch basketball not listen to two people try to be funny and fall on their face.

We just took up nearly an entire page discussing various aspects of sack racing and there is a lack of humor in this room???

He's very new to the room. The long timers can tell stories of the days we only posted in Haikus.

Does anyone find it interesting that Andy Horton, who does not recieve conference player of the week, is selected for D3Hoops Team of the Week. It does not bother me at all. After all, it is great publicity for the MWC. I just thought I would point it out to see if anyone else noticed it.

P.S. John Hoch for CU...Having a great season thus far.

larryubb, since "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (in keeping with the "Jesus quote" thing), you might want to give a little advice to system error.  If he's going to start critiquing inconsistent capitalization and questioning writing standards at LU, he might want to spell-check his posts to be sure he's spelling "receive" correctly.  I before E, except after C......

LU falls to Marian tonight 87-73.  I don't know the details of the game, but Lawrence shouldn't be losing to teams like Marian (midpack in the lowly Nathcon).  I hope the team pulls it together soon.

That Lawrence score is actually a good illustration of why it doesn't pay to put too much stock in games played before December 1. They count, of course, but I wouldn't leap to any big conclusions about most teams just yet. Lots of variables, lots of instability, lots of upsets. I suspect that if Lawrence and Marian were to replay that game in February, the result would be very, very different.

When LU lost last week in Fond du Lac, I had this thought--Marian is a girl's name.
