I figure it's because we actually heard of LaGrange before Mumme got there. :)

Well, you will hear a lot more of us now that Mumme is the HBC.

You mean the mainstream media will. D3football.com is already very familiar with LaGrange. :)

Yeah, I think he means mainstream media since Mumme's father used to be on the SEC radar when he was head coach at Kentucky.

I can see the headlines now...
"Son of Ex-SEC Head Coach Now Coaching in SEC Country"
..or something like that. I'll let the professionals take care of it.

maybe they quit to take similar open positions at FAU? bahahahaha

Who knows? hahaha
I did kind of get a little chuckle when I realized what had happened at FAU and thought "well, what if the same happened at LaGrange?" Since it was still hot off the press so to speak.

(Of course, I'm kidding and not insinuating they did. Remember, I'm still young and still like to laugh at things that others find not so funny.)

I like to think age and humor are mutually exclusive ... especially when you resist growing up anyway.  :)

When it comes to humor, I hope I'm like yall when I "grow up." I hope I'm 6 feet under before I stop laughing at some things. Passed the 16th grade, but sense of humor still hasn't made it out of 8th grade!  ;D

I am not a frequent poster on "D-3 Boards", but I will be for the next several days after the bush-league move by our Athletic Director and President Alexander in the removal of Coach Todd Mooney.  To say the least the players, and I have talked to many over the past 24 hours, are upset and shocked in Coach Mooney's dismissal (don't believe what the LaGrange press release says).

The team has shown great progress this year with a great win, just 2 weeks ago, against Huntingdon and with a winning conference record.  The offense has shown great improvement and the defense has been much better than in the previous season.

The removal of Coach Mooney, who started the LaGrange football program, and when it was done shows absolutely no class by a puppet Athletic Director and a President who rarely shows up to many athletic events at LaGrange.

Coach Mooney will be greatly missed and I wish him the best.  You deserved much better in return from LaGrange.....

The local paper doesn't even know more? Jeez. There has to be another story. This is basically a "same s**t, different day" write up. Thanks for the update.

Growing up the paper in town only ran twice a week, but since I've moved down to Tennessee and stayed in God's country after graduating, I've gotten spoiled by Knoxville. Knoxville paper's let'em have it everyday. No civility for miles around Knoxville.  :'(
