Just a question for LaGrange.

You filled your schedule with 8 conference games.  Which D-3 would you have played in the 3rd OOC game and when?  (There are not that many choices of teams that would have chosen you instead of their current conference obligations.)

If you have one more win on the season than the other teams with equal conference losses, do you have an advantage by having the extra win for winning percentage sake?

Someone had to play eight games. The math doesn't work otherwise!
See my post 9972 on Oct. 21.  :)

Right, and Kickoff. But if you read the conversation, the point clearly needed to be repeated.

Scots, during our game a couple of weeks ago, a couple of your fans told me that the NCAA may be looking into the eligiability of one of your linebackers, I think it is Wolfingbarger.  Seems like he played in 3 JV games in 2009 which counts as 1 year and has played in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.  Have they concluded the investigation or is it still on-going.....

Looking forward to our game against Ferrum.  Things has settled down this week and hopefully we will be focused today.  Ferrum gives up a lot of points and hopefully our offense can get untracked this week.....

I'm going with the Panthers in this one.  :)

mville must not be too worried...he has played every game this year - seems like they would hold him out if they thought his eligibility was in question

Hey Narch? That Methodist win over Guilford looks about right to me now. In fact, the way your boys are all over Huntingdon right now I can't believe you didn't beat the Quakers by more...  :)

narch

according to the huntingdon color guy, every route is a sit route :)

narch

that should be offensive pass interference...bad call...

mu should try a fg here, in my opinion...7 yards of field position not as important as putting the game out of reach with a make...good call, coach goss - 12 point lead with 38 seconds left...kick the ball out of bounds to avoid a return

narch

why didn't the clock stop there? not that it would have mattered, but the huntingdon qb clearly went out of bounds...they should have had 13 seconds left there...is there a clock rule i'm not aware of?

I think he got hit and went backwards to go out so his forward progress was in bounds. Should have just thrown the ball away instead of trying to run.

hmm...i'm not displeased with the call :), but looked like he stepped out on my small screen

maryville took care of business...the only hope for the monarchs is that panther guy is right and maryville's leading tackler is ineligible :)

congrats to the scots for their ncaa birth...

I think you may have to take what most fans say with a grain of salt. If there was an investigation, I would have heard about it through all the ties I still have with the players and a few of the assistants. We didn't even have 3 JV games that year-- we played U of Cumberlands (KY) twice, once early in the year and once later like week 8 or so. I think he's fine to play; Coach Rader or our SID would have gotten everything straight before he played.

As narch said, the athletic department would have held him out.

Side note: We need a new kicking game...2 blocked punts, 1 returned for a td, missed PAT and one blocked returned for a safety. Puts a damper on a 47-15 Senior Day win..
