Speaking of POTY awards...I think there should be a "special teams player of the year".  There is no bigger turn around in yardage than in the kicking game.  For instance if a kick returner had 1,000 yards returning in a season then he gave you ten first downs in each game.  How many offensive players can say they average 10 first down receptions/runs in a game.  Also, someone who can block kicks like Rodriquez not only takes points off the board but also causes huge swings in field position.  I know it would extemely hard to judge but these guys probably change the face of each game more than anyone else on the team.

Where ya been Bill?? That was released Oct. 27!! But ya, the Capts and The UMHBs will meet for a home and home this year and next. Should be fun, hopefully the Capts can compete with them and make it a great game.

What a year, what a season.  Hey "finest" I can't take another year of watching.  This past season, even though I was coaching, was miserable.  I believe I'm going to pull the pads back out and find me a team to play for.  And I'm ready to do the "old man" thing and talk my smack on this board.  Because thats what the USAC is all about...."Love to Hate".

 :)yea Bill McCabe, not to dis you or anything.  Mary H. Baylor opponet is a good sign of the way CNU program is headed.  They got more balls in the conference than any other school to go after the big boys, early.  "ARE YOU GOING TO RUN WITH THE BIG DOGS OR STAY HOME ON THE PORCH WITH THE PUPS" 8)

Sailor lets all just leave Mosh alone. Hey Welcome to this part of the world. My take on the 2 year agreement...I think it's great for CNU. CNU has been scheduling the non-conf portion of the schedule with the toughest and best teams they could find. CNU and UMHB play in week 2 next year, right after we go to NJ to play Rowan.

My take on the actual game.....CNU needs to figure out the O-line, D-line and a new problem next year....LB....as all 3 starters were seniors!!

Yikes.....if CNU can figure it out it will be a fun game...if not....a blowout by the boys from Texas.

I can't remember if I said this yet or not......Hats off to AU for a 7-3 season and for scheduling Mt Union next year. Ferrum, AU, MC.....all great years......football has arrived in the USASAC.

Meanwhile the ODAC teams think it's a good idea to play So Va, and club teams.......that was for the lurking LlamaDude!!
