like to see Wesley go on but there will not be many teams left that will put the ball on the ground like Ferrum did and have a porous secondary. I think Wesley gets whacked this week. Unless somebody gets "fumblelitis". They are Yankess anyway

Hey Narch,

I can't speak for the other CNU fans on here, but for me - I only post about CNU academics when someone else posts that CNU is "easy" and for public school dummies. I only try to emphasize that the standards have been raised Although, I don't know at all if they are superior (probably not) than other schools. I just don't have the time, nor do I care about comparing academics. I do know this - and posted it - that more than 1 student athlete at CNU has told me that they would not be accepted today if they had to re-apply.

As for me....I decided late to go to college...screwed around in HS too much and was able to get into CNC. Back then, CNC didn't have dorms. I lived at home (the penalty for screwing off in HS). But I figure I gots me a good education anyway......(or maybe I gots it from going to grad school at W&M) .I kinda like where I am in life right now!

  Don't under estimate the Wesley D' They held the top rushing teams at the time  to minimal yardage. Ferrum got a a total of a little more than 200 yrds.  O against them and alomst 100 of that was on 2 plays. Salisbury didn't get 100 yrds rushing against them.  The passing game is something to see.  Overall Wesley has a lot of team speed and the hit hard and tackle well.
  And this Lee kid catches everything he touches.   
 
  And if you have ever been to Dover anbrgr I don't think they woiuld classify themselves YANKEES!!!

I have a few things to say now that the season is over for USAC fans. I have really enjoyed this message board over the last couple of years but I have to say that I am sick of the back and forth bitching and whining between a select few (you know who you are). You guys have made the board miserable at times. I hope that the moderators pay closer attention to this next year. When other readers/posters have to weed through pages of you guys bitching, it takes away from the experience. Maybe next year we can get back to football.

Well yes I have been to Wesley. I got some paint on my helmet up there in 1976. Yes they are some hat bringing fools no doubt.

Seriously PA FAN they have a great team and they have a history of winning over the years but that bracket is a little tough.

They always hit you that's a given but with Ferrum's recent lack of playoff experience they should have beat those Panthers (played them too).

Not to bemoan a point but the intensity will pick up and hopefully....anyway I was pulling for MC to get to the show

That was the purpose of my last post - to try to diffuse the stuff going on here. Sometimes things get read entirely different than how they were written. It's hard to "read" into body language, sarcasm, etc.

Narch - I was just trying to say that I didn't feel that CNU had higher standards than anyone else - just higher when compared to previous years at CNU....then offered some personal info that would help you understand me a little better...that's all, no more no less. Or maybe, I was just jealous about you having all those things you mentioned.....wait I have all that too....except I don't have a home theatre system or NFL ticket. hmmm....that's a good start to my christmas list.

And I even put the olive branch out to Mosh by saying I liked his last post.
