Olinemom,
I didnt really check his age but if he was playing in 2004 and spent one year as a coach then he is probally like 24 or 25.

Admiral,
My stepbrother went to Kings Point.  I saw Tom Ridge give the keynote at the graduation.  Im 100% sure that it is federally funded and one of five.  Not a very fun place to be in college though!

24-25  That's pretty impressive.  Almost John Grudin-like.
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Mosh, I see what you are saying.  I thought you were saying Kings Point was one of the service academies.  I can definitely say from experience that going to any service academy is not a fun place to be.  Six months of CGA was enough for me.

Papi
You know you loved being smitted around the clock.

If you got in the academy you're a lot smarter than you look.  ;) I did not know you were a rocket scientist....a requirement to an academy. I'm sincerly impressed.

Gosh darner suuuunn.....one oyed trouseeeer trout suuuunn.

ABN, I was smart enough to get away from that place.

Yea, the language barrier was a problem for me up there...apparently they all spoke english and I spoke Harkonese ;) Did allow me to cuss them out without them knowing though.

Yea but I speak it too which allows me to move "in and out of thar dammerr" without getting beat up. I should see if the State Department could use me as a mole in Harkers Island "suuunn" "God damer mullet suuun"

Now let me this straight....you are commanding a "fast boat" as PO so you do exactly what you want? Man you got it made.

you need to get on one those 90 footers where the Os can torture you ;)

You got a bald header late 40's corpsman (real life a nurse) named ED probably a PO still stationed down there or did he get caught planking somebody elses....(got to keep the board Nazi off me here) lady. Yea ladys good

ABN, yea its rough having a 25' boat with 450 pony's and being able to take it and do pretty much what I want with it.  The best part is the four seats inside the cabin have neumatic shocks in them to soften the blows from the 6-8 footers.

Coaching Girls Basketball is a nightmare...

I feel really bad for the future husbands..

Im taking a class at NC Wes this semester...D
Does that make me a Bishop?

Nahhhhhh, Roll Pride...For LIFE!

AdmiralPapi

Mosh...I feel your pain...I used to coach my little sister's 8-10 year old girls basketball team.  I spent half the time laughing my butt off and the other half wanting to run head first through a brick wall.

I can relate with Mr Knight at Texas Tech.  I never understood why the man had to throw chairs...That picture seems much clearer now.  Dang my head hurts ???

col 55,
I think my stepdads team just added a monarch grad to the staff at overhills high school...Im pretty sure he was a linebacker for yall...

mosh - if that's craig underwood, he's a pretty bright guy...don't know if he can coach a lick, but he's smart - overhills is a pretty nice school in a not-so-nice part of town (spring lake...kinda like a smaller version of jacksonville, nc without the beach :)) - it's a relatively new school, but i wouldn't be surprised to see overhills get pretty solid soon...there is some good hs football in cumberland county, and there are some good athletes in the overhills district

mc55ol

Mosh, it has to be Craig. He is a good guy, and he knows the game of football. He will be a good addition their program.

moshergc9

He stepped into a really good situation at a great time at that school.  A few years ago they had an undefeated team that my step dad coached.  He is now the Def Cord but I he mentioned that he may let alot of the calls come from up in the booth this year (that means your boy will have a big role as a first year coach)  Doesnt get much better than that!

Recruiting news out of Gboro...They aquired a 4-10 running back out of hawaii...The kid surfs like a maniac and runs the forty in 3.95 flat....Good luck catching him monarchs...

moshergc9

how do i put a pic up on this thing?

D3Newbie

i heard gboro picked up some new Qb transfer - - - any news on that?  ???

don't think he's from hawaii - somewhere in the midwest i think

How about some love for Hank Norton.  One of the newest members of the Virginia State Sports Hall of Fame.  Great Guy, Great coach, Great story teller.  One hell of a fisherman.  Hank put ferrum on the map in smaller college football.  Love Ya coach!
