Narch, anything new going on in Monarch camp?  Is Coach Sy out patrolling military academy's looking for his next QB or do we have one in house that is going to be able to fill Rocket's shoes (that's gonna be tough).

ABN...where ya been?  You didn't get drunk and get lost in the Rocky's did you?  You would have loved to been with us the other day.  We had a m240 shoot about 10 miles offshore in 8-10 footers.

you know the deal...recruiting, recruiting, recruiting - also, pretty high turnout in weight room work, from what i understand...not as many guys running "jv track" as there have been in the past, so they are spending time with their football teammates - i think that will pay dividends down the road

as for the qb, the coaches feel pretty comfortable with the 2 guys in the system...neither is rocket, but both have some upside - schultz has a solid arm and makes good decisions with the ball, but isn't much of a threat to run - bartee can run and has a rifle, but that rifle misfires too often...should be good competetition this spring - bartee is probably a better fit for the offense, but i wouldn't be against schultz being the starter - it might be a situation similar to you and roundtree where the job is up in the air until someone says "that's my job...i'll take it" and doesn't let go for a few years

A return specialist is visiting MC from Colorado Springs this week. ONly a 4.6 40 but he is like a ping pong ball. I believe he will help his sophmore year as soon as he gets used to "college hats" being brought down on him  He needs about 15lbs and he will be dangerous.

I see everyone has been working this site hard.

Mosher.....the oline coach there was one of my best friends in college. The head coach, and (i think he is the dc) were also coaches at methodist at one pt. Let me know if there is anything i can help you with.
