Hey kid

The info you provided on Ferrum opponets w/l records and how it affects the polls is very interesting. I cannot disagree with you, but I do think its important to point out that Ferrum was picked to finish fifth in the USAC this season.
We are not nationally ranked yet, nor are we assured of finishing fifth or better, but we Panther fans are greatful and hopeful that by just focusing on one game at a time, that there is enough talent to carry the team to the USAC title. Even if it means a scoring fest like this past weekend with AU

I have no Idea. Ferrum has no lights, so that limits them, but why cant they play during the day.

I will get in touch with the SID and let you know.

As for the Methodist game, I have my fingers crossed. I cannot get there for that game, but will be there for the CNU game. (5 hrs.)

As you guys know, at the D-3 level money is a huge concern (that is why Ferrum did not play Wesley this year--too far to travel when they already have to travel to Maryville).  Because Franklin County HS does not have a game that week, Ferrum and FCHS saw it as an excellent chance to tap into the fan base of all of Franklin County and make a little money.  Should be a great game, but unfortunately some of us will not be able to make it because it is not on Saturday.

Wesley would've been a home game. Ferrum wouldn't be traveling to Wesley and Maryville in the same fiscal year.

Here you go about something that you don't know...Ferrum would have had to renew the contract this year, which they did because Guilford had initially dropped Ferrum.  But when Guilford called and wanted back on the schedule, it was either get Guilford now or lose them for at least two years.   Guilford = 1 hour and 25 minutes / Wesley = 8 hours plus...not a hard decision.
