YEAH, YEAH BallBoy----- nobody wants you on that wagon. Negativity comes
alot easier for most people and obviously you're with most. NCWC plays a
decent brand of defense. The offensive potential is there but it depends on
the offensive line. You've been dissin NCWC from the start, well KEEP IT UP.
It fits you well. Big PROPS to Maryville, they've represented the USASAC
very well this season. M'ville should be fired up because NCW scheduled them
for Homecoming. This will be the game of the week. This will be another grudge
game for NCW. They loss a close one to M'ville in OT last year. Hey Fellas,  I went
4-0 in my picks this week; it won't happen again this season. GO BISHOPS!!!

So when the stats come in and get updated, will it be the conference's best paper offense vs the conferences best paper defense when MC goes over the mountain?

I think we saw two young qbs play the toughest defenses either had seen this year. Caparaso and Wall both did better in the second half. Both could have been picked off an extra time.

As for the phantom fumble at the goal line. The photos don't lie. Hightower scored stretched arm slamming the ball against the endzone turf where GC defender pulled it out. The photogs caught the sequence in frame and its pretty clear officials blew the call but sisnce it didn't change the outcome I doubt anyone will cry about it. But the head official may want to have a word with that crew. They had several issues with determining when a play was actually over that hurt both teams. yes that makes it a wash but it also was asking to get someone hurt unnessecarily when you don't blow the whistle allowing the pile on to go too far.

Game package from the Daily Times featuring game story by former MC pitcher The Pete Herbert (300 pitches in 8 days last spring against Emory and in GSAC tourney games)

So, since replay showed Hightower actually scored that touchdown, will Mr. Tipps add those points to the final Scots total; thus the scots cover the points spread and I get 5 points not 4 for the week?

And ruin the first time that I've actually gotten my "sure thing" pick correct (by choosing Gboro with the points)?!

Not bloodly likely!  ;D

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

Your team won 24-7.  You are complaining about the fumble.  Did Greensboro get anything out of it? From what I was told there was a TD Greensboro had in back of the endzone that was called incomplete.  From what I heard the GC WR had one foot in, and if he didn't, he was pushed out of bounds. Even if I am telling a story right there, calls are made and sometimes missed. Get over it.  If it wasn't a fumble for Hightower, then it is just as likely the other fumbles in the game weren't fumbles either.

Just move on, prepare for NCWC.  GC will move on and prepare for GC.

Dude I tell you what is so freakin funny about that article. They cant spell a players name even by looking at the roster. I tell you it was a sloppy game on both sides

I am not bitter, but bringing up something that had no real effect on the game, comes off as complaining about a call.  Narch even said last year, about complaining about the calls of refs is really just nonsense.  In a game that was 24-7, there is no need to really bring it up.

What article and who's name was it?

The game was sloppy but MC totally dominated Lowe and kept him as a non factor in the game.  In containing him, it basically killed any chance Greensboro had at offensive production.  Yes, Greensboro moved the ball some here or there but without him in the picture they are very limited on what they can do.

PrideSportsBBallGuy,

First off, someone else brought it up in a previous post.  Second, it was just said jokingly to Ryan because of the pick 'ems totals.  Why are you blowing this up over nothing?  It was a joke to him... drop it.
