SU97

and with the start of the 4th quarter:

CNU: 28
SU:  0

Congrats to the Captains on a big win.  I think you guys lead the series now at 4-3 lifetime.  At least we're the only USASAC team to ever beat you guys at POCOMO. ;D

From the radio it sounds like SU never had a chance.  I think CNU had something like 4,000 rushing yards today...  and another 500 through the air...

CNU85 - I would be interested to read your thoughts on the game.  I do have to say that the CNU folks have a nice online live stats feed, easy to follow.

It's a bye week for SU next week, hope we can turn it around and muster up something for the final stretch of the season.

You guys need to do stand up. :)

But serious 85 will be insufferable this week.

Will be in Lejune in late OCT. Just got the tag to process thru for AL Taqaddum. 15KM from Falluja. I heard I will not need a heater. ::)

Stand up? I do my best work laying down...or is that lying down?

I will not be insufferable this week. It was a big win.....and in my pre-season predictions I had it 38-0......the last drive I was hoping for a FG to make it 38-0, not a TD to finish the game at 42-0.

Abnrgr - be assured I will say prayers for your safety in Iraq.

SU97 - not sure what I can say about the game. From a CNU fan standpoint it was nice to roll and get a W. From an SU standpoint it was ugly. From a neutral standpoint it must have been boring.

Good weather, food, friends, and beer. It was a nice day!!

Uncle J - we missed each other. My fault. My friends were running late, so I parked my Jeep in a different lot and waited for them, jumped in their car and then went to tailgate.

CNU85

oh my....just looked at the stats...very ugly. CNU lost 4 fumbles!

CNU had 567 yds offense to SU's 160.

32 first downs to 9

CNU had the ball for 35 minutes...that's a first down about every minute of play when they had the ball.

Offesnive reserves for CNU were not in synch. Looked confused. Still scored a few times.

From  a CNU standpoint it was an ugly blowout, despite the large margin of victory it was not a well executed game.  To many turnovers and not enough crisp long sustained drives from CNU playing a team of that caliber.  From a neutral standpoint Im sorry, but parents and fans of SU have nothing to complain about.  Maybe you can blame Barnes on his recruiting but personally (once again I'm sorry but I saw very average talent on the SU side of the ball). Their skill players need a lot of work and I saw very little heart and emotion even when it was 14-0. I didn't see one offensive skill player for SU that if he got the ball you were afraid that he could take it the distance and I don't care what type of offense you put them in. You can blame a coach for a lot of things but the SU team played with no heart or emotion.  I played against SU teams 4 times and even when (biased opinion ;D) I thought they were not a great team, they always played HARD.

Back to CNU good win its always a pleasure to see us blast SU.  And correction SU97 no conference team has ever beaten us at POMOCO.  ;) ;) ;D

Abn...give me a holler when you get near post and we'll get a beer or 20!

Narch...looks like the defense showed up today but the offense must have taken the day off.
